Everything was perfect here. The location was situated away from the main road and it was very peaceful and quiet. There are nearby hiking routes which you can start from the property. The outside and inside area are very nicely decorated. We really liked our room, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was nice and spacious and the towels were soft and large. Lastly, our hosts were very accommodating and nice and they prepared great food and breakfast for us.

The property and the grounds were well kept and lovely and they provided gluten free breakfast for us with some good options

Their driveway was a little tricky to drive at night with uneven bits for us with a small car but manageable

Secluded homestead, in the wilderness. 1 hours drive up spellbinding road, nearest shop 30mins. The feeling of wilderness, and off grid-ness is high. Very peaceful, with beautiful light, and greenery. Wonderful hosts, super comfy room. Nice common areas, but the outdoors are the draw.

Technically lunch is not provided. Though on request they kindly prepared a board of cheese and cured meats, and wine, which was awesome after a 4 hours walk. So Happy.

It sounds unreal: a lonely house on a hilltop, absolutely quiet, a wonderful garden, unspoilt nature. There is no better place to relax. Hiking trails start at the hotel. A welcome as if you were staying with friends, modern rooms furnished to 4-star standards. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner on request. There is nothing better.

Absolutely Everything, the service - food - location - facilities- and attentiveness of Greta and Philipo second to none . Yes it is off the beaten track but well worth the effort once there. Stunning.

    Nothing.

Great and quiet place, with incredible friendly hosts. Food was delicious and made from local product. Greta and Filippo were just amazing. Room was very comfortable and clean. All interiors claim very good feeling for details and country style.

Absolutely Awesome! These two words would already describe our entire stay. The Refugio itself is a little paradise up in the mountains. We have never been to a place which is that cozy and stylish in the middle of nature of a national park! Our lovely hosts did take care of all the rest- we've got a welcome prosecco on the sunside lounge. We we're delighted with all the best of Italien kitchen, locally produced by the farmers around and prepared with perfection by Greta. Horse enthusiasts can admire the western horses breeded by Filippo around the location in summer time. Our dog was also welcome and directly friend with the owners one. No cellphone connection up in the mountains but Wifi did work perfect. Last 1 km of gravel road could be difficult for sports cars, so one should check whether a shuttle with the owners truck would be available upon request. Thank you so much guys for the great stay. We will definitely come back some day.
