Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCoffee, juices and tea were really bad. Some morning breads were dry and stiff. The Personnel at the bar were a bit rude, overly checking the time when we order last round of drinks 10 minutes ahead of bar closing. The location of this is not ideal, but the view is amazing and if you have a car 100% worth it.
The view from the room was stunning. Pool was beautiful and had unlimited gelato, drinks at the bar and such. Aperitivo (afternoon snack) was also great. Huge Breakfast.

PolandFood - good choice but average quality; so noisy cantine (crowded); Some service crew not engaged (even drunk)?! Chemistry used for room cleaning with quite „sharp” smell (however cleaning level is very good!). The Elewator need a good maintenance!
Parking in place, big and clean room and comfortable bed, good location as Garda sightening base camp. Nice view from terrace to Garda like. Pool is clean. Free Access to hot & cold drinks whole day. Some people in service crew were nice and engaged. Nice village behind the hotel fence: Old buildings, narrow streets, quiet and charmy.

United KingdomWe found the staff a little unfriendly. We learnt quite quickly that staff are allocated to certain tables each night, these staff are pleasant when they see you around the hotel. Any other staff we found very impolite and didn’t smile or say hello when we spoke to them. Particularly Dona who never said hello or smiled when we did to her, we felt she looked down at us for no reason and this made us uncomfortable and unwelcome: Some staff told us of workplace bullying that was happening and this did have an impact on our experience-knowing we were having a nice holiday whilst behind the scenes in house bullying was occurring. We’re not naive and know this happens everywhere sadly but we don’t want to hear if it on our holiday. We felt sorry for the staff involved but they shouldn’t be telling guests issues, quite unprofessional. Reception ladies were rude, however the gentleman very helpful.
Excellent choice of food, very good quality. Great value for money

United KingdomStaff work very hard 7 days a week, this must impact their morale and wellbeing, which sometimes shows. Reception staff kack smiles and the dinner service felt rushed as they had so many tasks to do. Bar basic, no menus etc Wine and beer from machine...definitely watered down Very little/ poor vegetarian options when you receive the daily sheet to order, being vegetarian felt like a difficulty. On the Sunday, three meat choices for the second piati. Was told to just write vegetarian. What was presented was not what we eat ( processed meat alternative), so was disappointed not to have a choice written as neat eaters do...its 2025! Did inform reception. The position gives the views but also a challenge to reach... We are travelling around with backpacks. Had to take a taxi from Toscolano Maderno 15 euros to cessina and a walk or 25 euros to hotel. Therefore, we didn't venture out for few days we were there Decor is dated Pool areas small
The views of the lake are great and the mountains directly behind the accommodation Food that was served for dinner ( chosen from list day before) was well presented and hot. Breakfast lunches normal fayre for AI

United KingdomParking. There aren't quite enough spaces to go round. So the last people back in the evening have to use unmarked spaces (partially blocking the access) or go to the overflow car park on a bit of wasteground a few hundred metres down the hill. And the ramp to the car park is too steep and rubs the underside of your car if it's a low-slung model.
Helpful, professional, courteous staff – without exception. Nice meal and drink arrangements and decent-quality food.

BulgariaFirst want to start off that our experience was very positive. But the hotel is dated, its older and its starting to show. The bathrooms are not up to par for 2025 and the noise you hear from other rooms sometimes makes it feel like your in a cardboard box. The all-in concept is also not truly all-in. You can't get food whenever you like and the drinks are (mostly) from a machine on self service. Non of the above were dealbreakers for us, for myself personally I thought the food was somewhat bland and the same every night. I had three different pastas yet I would not be able to tell they were any different besides the shape. If the food was better I would have given this place a solid 9 as the other items were minor to us.
The staff was absolutely excellent. Everyone made sure at all times you were happy which is by far the biggest selling point of the hotel. The view was very nice, the pool areas nice and clean and enough parking (although a little tight for big suv's). Our kid was very happy with all the attention and it made our stay sooo much more relaxed.

United KingdomThe decor and facilities felt a bit outdated and could have been more modern. Evening meal food had choice of 2 options whereas a more buffet style (similar to breakfast and lunch) would have been preferred.
The views across the lake are amazing. The rooftop pool (adults only) was great and was our 'go to' place everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was always clean. Breakfast and lunch time food always had plenty of choice.

GermanyCheck-in was late (from 4pm) and check-out was early (10am). I can understand this could be because of the meal timings. Food and drinks were ok-ish. The quality and taste were not very good. Wifi had issues sometimes but it worked most of the time. One needs to drive up a narrow road for almost 2 Kms from the main "panoramic" road to get to the hotel. Some of the coffee machines used instant coffee powder and not beans and the coffee from those was bad. Later we found another newer one near the bar which used beans and was much better. Pool didn't seem to be heated so it's not usable in off-season.
View of Lake Garda from the hotel is amazing. You can watch it from your room (if you have a lake facing room) or from the area where the meals are served and also from the pools. Room was big with a big bathroom and terrace. Staff was friendly and spoke multiple languages. Free parking available. Pets are allowed (with extra charge). Breakfast was good. Free drinks (water, beer, wine, lemonade, coffee till 10pm). We got a great price for the all inclusive package. Sockets near both sides of the bed. Room service did a good job. There were tiles in the room and no carpets which is easier to clean and more hygienic.

United KingdomNothing not to like, all lovely.
We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Hotel. It was clean, relaxed, the policies in place surrounding pool etiquette and meals was great, and the food choices were excellent - lunch was the favoured meal of the day for the family, however it was all great. The lovely waiter & waitress looking after us, Giuseppe and Dora, were both wonderful, smiley and kind too, they all work so hard. Because of the three available pools, you could always get a sunbed & it never felt overcrowded. The views were divine, and we would definitely go back for another visit, Thank you.

United KingdomThe single beds were fold out chairs so not very comfortable for adults but fine for children. Could give a bit more selection of salad, was quite German in style rather than Italian!
Lovely pools, great views over lake Garda and good selection of food. Staff friendly and the room was well equipped with a fridge and outside area. It's a drive from other bars etc but that is as advertised and it was fab as you got the views. Great value for money as the included drinks were simple but good and the food was fine. Good breakfast selection.
