Location was amazing … across from the beach and next to the main piazza. Only thing missing in this hotel are refrigerators.. other than that I would definitely book again.Train Station is with in walking distance and buses.Very clean and A/C got very cold.. don’t understand previous travelers complaining about the AC. Great hotel- I highly recommend this hotel

Not really

For a 3 star hotel it was comfortable and charming. A quirky but simple set up for breakfast, with a basic but good enough choice to eat and drink. You had basic beer, wine, water and other soft drinks available to buy along with tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms were basic but suitable for our needs, as really we only needed somewhere to shower and sleep. They had air conditioning and we also had a nice little balcony with a table and chairs with sea view. If you fancied something different, it had a very quaint little rear courtyard garden with plenty of seating, sun beds and umbrellas. Directly across the road you can find 2 private beaches with plenty of sun beds, great amenities and food and drink. You also have very close access to public beaches, town centre, restaurants, bars, bus links and train station.

We left our baggage, because the plane was in the night. When we arrived back, in the reception they told us, that we can wait in the lobby, where there is air-conditioning. So we went in, there was a woman, i guess the owner, and sit also inside. My partner was tired about the walking in the sun, so she slept a bit. Then the woman go out from the room and close the door, that everybody wake up. Iam 100% sure it was a direct event. Then when she went back, close the door again very loudly. After 1/2 minute the reception lady came in, that we need to go out, and show a place outside in the middle of the summer heat to take a rest. We was there for some day, and then we cannot wait 1-2 hrs for the bus in the AC room was a bit interesting moment. But we saw, that the reception lady wanted to the situation. That was nice from her. Therefore we was decided to reduce the overall and stuff points. The stuff was super nice, but the woman was very rude.

The hotel is let me day retro. But this you can see already from the pictures. The crew was nice, every time when we have something, they immediately answer/do/etc what need. The room was ok, the balcony with see view is great. The bed for us was comfy, the cleaning is done every day. Not cleaned for example under the bed, but overall i think it is ok. The breakfast they write continental, that means there was 2 kind of "pizza", then of course sweets, the coffee they made fresh, juice, canned fruit salad + yoghurt. For us for this 3 times was ok, i cannot say anything. It was nice, that it is possible to store our luggage in the reception. That was a huge help. So, in my opinion, for the price we payed, we got what we expected, or with the superfriendly stuff more. Sad thing that we met with the woman i told in the - side. I will not go back to Ostia, as we already done everything here, but anyhow i need to go back, i will choose again. And i will stay away from the woman.

There was no air conditioning. There was a built in fan. It was warm and humid in the room. Opened the patio door for he cool sea breeze and got eaten alive by mosquitoes The toilet was so close to the wall, I had to sit sideways!! The continental breakfast was fine. The cappuccino was excellent. Staff was lovely.

Aircondition is very dirty and not working properly. The room could be cleaner. Ex. some dead mosquitos on the walls, but the bed linnen perfectly fine. The bathroom door couldnt close fully and shampoo/shower gel smells like men cologne. Breakfast not that good, seems like the hotel cheaped out on breakfast.
