An amazing family run hotel. Location is 10/10, room is 10/10(we had a harbour-view balcony), breakfast 10/10, staff 10/10. Cannot recommend highly enough. Our first visit to Desenzano and this hotel is within walking distance of the train station and walking distance to Lake Garda and the ferry terminal. Loads of restaurants close by.

If i was being picky i would mention the shower - we were in room 20, it was the smallest shower ive ever been in. Luckily we are not big people or we wouldnt have fitted in there 🤣

What a location ! Couldnt beat it. Really close to lots of beautiful restaurants - spoiled for choice. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice, beautiful pastries, fruit, egg, meat, cheese all the usual continental breakfast choices. Rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning, minibar was good value. Worried a bit about parking but it was easy - drop luggage off and park in a multistory a short walk away, there was a charge.

The location and style of the hotel and rooms were awesome. The staff were dead friendly! I absolutely loved staying there. The views, the buzz - it was all just good!

I thought the balcony was "private", because it said so but it was separated by.. well practically nothing. Would be nice to be able to choose whether to really have a private balcony or have a shared one with just railing separating you. My neighbour literally sat beside me. The airconditioning is set to a standard 23°C, would have liked to be able to set my own preference temperature. It was fine for this temperature though, with 29°C outside I slept wonderfully!

Staff was lovely! Breakfast was good but I would have at least expected scrambled eggs for this price. But that's a personal preference and kind of nitpicky from my end ;-). Staff was lovely, breakfast was fresh and elaborate enough, location was PERFECT. Shower was great and the showergel had such a wonderful smell! I loved it :-) the minibar was nice and prices very reasonable! (Beer €3, big bottle of water €1,50) Extra breakfast fee for a guest was also really reasonable(€10), it was so nice they obliged when I had a visitor! I had a lovely time, both the man and woman at the counter are very lovely and kind. Wish I had planned to stay longer, I already miss my balcony view! Very safe location for a woman by herself. Also perfect when you come by ferry! The walk to the station is doable but be prepared to sweat when it's hot out and there are no busses (because of the market, 2 times a week. I know it's atleast on Tuesdays). Doable walk, but up hill ;-)

Excellent location, right across from Porto Vecchio and close to the boat to Sirmione. Great breakfast (I'd only suggest including more vegan options like hommus and oat milk if possible). Clean place and friendly staff.

We went for a dip in the lake and were told off by local police. Apparently we should have swum from the public beach - we went to look and it was very disappointing (busy, smelly and expensive sunbeds).

The reception staff were quiet - They were not rude but also not very welcoming when you walked past. The breakfast staff were very friendly though.

The shower in our room overlooking the harbour was extremely small but we put up with it because of the view from the balcony.

It is in a wonderful position overlooking the old harbour. We could park outside to load and unload our luggage and the parking was quite near and very easy to use. The staff were very friendly.

Room a bit small, lobby was stuffy, and no charging options by the bed.

Amazing location right on the old harbour, beautiful shared terrace and stunning view from the small private terrace, kind and friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable enough. Breakfast was ok. If it’s a hotel for a few days - it is great (in the heart of everything and very clean), maybe we stayed a bit too long which was our choice.

Excellent location, in the most spectacular central area. Superb view from the balcony. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Initially I was worried about the lack of parking at the hotel, but everything had a very practical and functional solution. The fact that when arriving and departing you can stop briefly in front of the hotel to handle your luggage, without any problems and very easy. Then, even though it is a short distance to walk, access to the parking is simple and everything proved very functional, whenever we wanted to use the car.
