Perfect location, amazing service and staff. Beautiful view

The only small thing we noticed was the road leading to the property, which is a bit uneven and rocky in some parts. While it’s absolutely manageable, it does require careful driving. Improving this access road a bit would make the arrival experience even more comfortable – especially for guests with lower cars.

Our stay at Podere 1384 was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for. The manager, Andrea, was always available and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. He provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden spots in the area, which truly enhanced our experience in Tuscany. The entire team at Podere 1384 is outstanding – warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. You can feel that every guest is important here. A special thank you goes to Anetta from housekeeping, who took such great care of us when we encountered a small issue during our stay. The property is absolutely stunning – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. At times, we felt as if we had the entire hotel to ourselves. The pool area was often completely private, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. What truly sets Podere 1384 apart is the atmosphere. The moment you arrive, you feel at home. It’s a place where you can disconnect, relax, and recharge. Every detail, from the cozy rooms to the carefully prepared breakfast, is done with love. The breakfast was a real highlight – freshly made each day and served with such care and attention. We are already looking forward to coming back and making more memories at this magical place. Everything was great

This place is everything you are looking for in Tuscany. Location is perfect for those looking for peaceful vacation, but that is also close enough to everything to go sightseeing. Staff was very nice, kind and friendly, they also helped us find nearby restaurants and places to visit. Environment and pool is amazing, everything is very tidy and rooms are very clean. Food was also great and so was fitness.

Everything was perfect

The hotel has a great location close to Panzano and Castellina in Chianti. It’s completely renovated and nicely designed. It’s really five star experience! Delicious food, great selection of wine, very friendly and professional staff and the best manager Andrea. We have been many times in Chianti area and this hotel is my far the best we have visited. Thank you whole team for your hospitality, you made our stay absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to comeback.

The only thing we did not like about the hotel, was the stairs leading to the room, which are quite steep, especially with luggage.

The breakfast, staff and location were all excellent, as was the food in the restaurant.

Stunning gem in the middle of a very pretty part of Tuscany. So close to Florence, and Siena. Andrea the general manager and Roxy his assistant are the most kind and generous people. They made our stay a perfect one. We would recommend this property to everyone.

The attention from Andrea was more than incredible, the place is dreamy, perfect location for us to drive to Florence and some Tuscan towns, all of the staff was amazing, we would come back without doubt! The restaurant for dinner it’s still with some gaps but the service just makes the stays so worthy.

The fact that Andrea is the dynamo of the place makes it a bit tricky to sometimes ask basic services so he doesn’t get pulled from other work as you see him running around the property to make everyone happy. Surely the space need more staff at least 2 simple just junior staff will make a huge difference so the stars of the property can focus on their main roles. More focus on the rooms as the tv was not working and certain plugs. .. just minor stuff but overall simply great stay

Amazing location, great facilities and most importantly the stars of the property is Andrea who is excellent and super talented in the hospitality industry without him the property wouldn’t be the same and his team specifically Roxana who is super kind and full of energy. The food is simply amazing so hats off to the chefs are doing a fantastic job. Andrea simply runs the place in a lot of passion you would think it is his own business which is amazing.

The place was so beautiful. It's a new place, everything was clean and impressive. High level interior design. The pool was perfect and the view was unbelievable. Andrea was charming and pampered us in every way. The restaurant in the hotel is at a very high level. They just wait for customers to arrive and treat them like royalty, highly recommend.

Gorgeous views with beautiful grounds in peaceful surroundings. Conveniently located. We rode bicycles from the property to a variety of cute towns and ate at wonderful restaurants recommended by Andrea, our concierge.

We aren't fans of the bath in the bedroom, which would have been the only thing about the room design we would have changed!

First impressions are breathtaking - entrance, views, landscaping, outdoor furniture & structure /materials used in the buildings is very welcoming, high quality & world class. The staff are all well trained & knowledgible - fabulous deep tissue massage in the spa & wonderful food & wine in the restaurant for dinner. A most outstanding GM in Andrea Pieri - the consumate host - nothing too much trouble & a wealth of knowledge of the history of the resort, the area & surrounds plus a delight to deal with on every level - a rare skill! Breakfast was located in a heavenly spot with views of the rolling hills & the breakfast itself was a tasty, nutritious & well presented offering- we didn't require the additional offer of eggs as we were going to lunch. We are world travellers from Australia for both business & holidays & this is a gem!

Main issue was …..totally transparent toilets. Glass doors - really. Is this a style thing now, is it a generational thing? My wife and i found it absolutely appalling. Ok, it could be an age thing, but it coloured our whole stay and we would have gone to another hotel had we known in advance. By the way, when we mentioned this we were told it was obvious from the website photos. It is not - take a look for yourselves. Food was average, first meal was chewiest steak cubes I’ve ever had. Got better after that. Good Bar.
