Douglas and AJ are the most welcoming and kind hosts we've ever met. They truly made us feel at home, and their genuine warmth made our trip so memorable. The breakfast was absolutely incredible—a real highlight of our mornings. What impressed us most, however, was their meticulous care for our son's food allergies. They went above and beyond to prepare his food with such attention to detail, which gave us complete peace of mind. Douglas and AJ also shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. Their local knowledge helped us discover some real gems that we otherwise would have missed. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Douglas and AJ, for everything!

We felt incredibly well taken care of at Podere Lamberto and had an amazing time. The tour with AJ was an absolute highlight – engaging, fun, and full of insights. Both AJ and Douglas also prepare a truly delicious breakfast that made our mornings perfect. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Montepulciano. And make sure to try their wines – they’re absolutely worth it!

Everything was wonderful!

A dream place to relax and reflect. Everything was simply perfect! The peace and quiet, the view, the wonderful, caring owners Douglas and AJ. The breakfast was prepared with so much love. Regional products, freshly baked, unusual breads, delicious plums from the garden, and to finish off, great cakes and desserts and a wonderful cappuccino. The olive oil is delicious! Our apartment had everything you need. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for the four of us, furnished with attention to detail. Our hours by the amazing pool were so relaxing and fun for our two children! A perfect place that we will visit again next summer. A perfect holiday combining sightseeing and relaxing by the pool or on the bench with a book. A dream place with very caring people. We are very grateful for the wonderful and precious time and will be back next year! THANK YOU VERY MUCH ♡

The hosts were the friendliest people and more than happy to help us with recommendations and bookings locally. The property is as beautiful as the pictures. It is along a dusty track but well worth the drive. The location is outrageously beautiful and so peaceful. Our room was a 2 bedroom apartment which was generous in size and the kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to self cater. The pool area was gorgeous and a lovely spot to spend an hour or two at the end of a day sightseeing. We signed up for the cookery class which was not cheap ( +£100 pp ) but it was a small group and we had a great time. Breakfasts are focused on fresh, local produce and are taken on the pretty terrace. Plenty of parking on site. We would highly recommend as a base for exploring the Montepulciano region.

We had the best stay here, I honestly couldn’t recommend it more! The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, spacious, and really lovely, and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. The wine tasting was great, and the pool area was peaceful and relaxing. Just an all round amazing place to stay!

Everything was great!

Podere Lamberto is absolutely beautiful. A nice boutique vineyard (you can do a visit and wine tasting) with a beautiful property. The light in the evening on the property is breathtaking. We were staying with our two kids in the two bedroom appartement which was perfect. Needless to say, they loved the pool. They also provided a crib and a high chair for our baby, which is great. The breakfast were simply delicious, with all local sourced food. And last but not least, the owners were so welcoming! We hope to come back one day!

From the moment you check in Doug and AJ make you feel at home in their tiny corner of Tuscany. The farm tour and wine tasting were the highlight of our stay in this fantastic setting with homemade breakfast and amazing views.

Amazing hosts who gave us the feeling that our happiness is the most important thing in the world. Solved every issue, Gave us great reccomondations of restaurants, villages, and things to do, Baked amazing bread, Cleaned our room, and above all were so so nice. In addition to that, of course the location, the view, the kitchen that is very well equiped, and the house itself is just a dream come true.

We had the best stay at Podere Lamberto. AJ and Doug are delightful. The villa itself is beautiful. Lovely furnishings and great heating in the winter. We loved lying by the pool in the sunshine with a vino. Highly recommend the farm tour and tasting! We learnt so much and loved tasting the local wine from the farm.

The dirt road getting there had a few rough spots to drive through---but this was our only minor complaint.

Everything was exceptional---we really enjoyed all the attention to detail and superior and thoughtful service! Breakfasts were amazingly delicious with tons of variety and homemade delights to choose from. We're glad we did the farm walking and wine tasting experience, too. Was a fabulous time there.

Staying at Podere Lamberto is like being welcomed into a secluded exclusive retreat. The location is beautiful, immersed in nature, quiet, peaceful. Doug and AJ are wonderful hosts who spare no detail to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and included hot out-of-the-oven bread, fresh juices and so much more. We also enjoyed a personal tour of Podere Lamberto and wine tasting with Doug. Doug also recommended two 1-day itineraries to see the area, and they didn’t disappoint. Close proximity to Bagni SAN Filippo, Val d’Orcia and Montepulciano make this an ideal home base. We would highly recommend Podere Lamberto!

From the moment we arrived everything about our stay was perfect. Doug and AJ were incredibly welcoming and were always on hand for recommendations or tips and questions. The apartment was amazing with the most stunning view and we enjoyed the extra space that is not common with most accommodation. The pool area is divine and we were lucky enough to have a tour of the vineyard and a tasting which the best way to end our stay! We travelled here with our two young children and they were also made to feel so welcome and special. We highly recommend Podere Lamberto!
