Some of the furniture is a little worn, but then it was a bargain price, so within expectations.

Not a huge negative but general feedback, the overhead bifold cupboards in the kitchen were heavy and difficult to manage.

Very restful apartment set in Tuscany about 20 minutes from Siena. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable with all the facilities we needed for a relaxing stay, an outdoor seating area and access to the pool and sun lounges. Paolo, our host was generous to allow me to use the washing machine on our first day there. We particularly liked our visits from the very friendly cats.

The location is really isolated. You need to drive everywhere you go - even to get breakfast. The pool is very dirty and is not cleaned. We saw all kinds of insects swimming in it - so none of us went in during our 5 day stay. There are also incredible amount of bugs - we were COVERED (not the property's fault -- but would have loved a heads up and some insect repellant). Wi-Fi wasn't great in rooms. Also - there are lots of activities to do around the property - wish we were told of them when we booked so we could have made use of the bookings. We found wine tasting and cooking oil details in the welcome book, but it was too late to book by then.

Good property, incredible views and very good staff too. They provide a nice welcome basket + lots of wine and local olive oil is available to purchase too.

WiFi was only available in the living room, but it wasn't a big issue for us.

The location is perfect - it's accessible and easy to find. You can get to the main points of interest (Val d'Orcia, Siena, Chianti) in 30 - 40 min. The apartment is well equipped. We had some cold days and the heating worked perfectly. Last but not least, the landscape surrounding the property is beautiful, especially the sunsets! 🌄

The fact that some garden areas connected to the apartments have a view of the parking lot did not bother us at all, because it was only cars of other guests and the agriturismo can be reached only by car. The road next to the agriturismo is not so noisy that it bothered us. However, real relaxation is only possible if other guests respect the quiet. We had bad luck twice in a row with guests staying above us: old buildings are not well insulated and it is fine to hear footsteps and chairs to some extent, but very loud discussions in the early morning or singing and guitar playing in the evening, while perhaps funny for those involved, prevented us from getting a good night's sleep.

We had a really nice time and enjoyed our stay at Podere Sant'Alessandro very much. The apartments are in really good condition and nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and easy to contact - even via Whatsapp. The pool is big enough to swim in and the surrounding area offers many hidden spots to sit and enjoy a great view of the Tuscan vineyards. Many different activities can be booked through the owners, such as picnics, mountain bike rentals, wine tastings and the like - really great deals!

The room is noisy as it is close to the highway and the photos on the website is not exactly same as the fact. The kitchen is old and fan does not work, no disk wash machine. There are lots of bugs in the room.

I think there is a serious issue regarding the cleanness. The apartment was dusty, the ceiling had a lot of spiders with their nets, the dining table had some kind of meat cream on its side. With a bit more attention this could be managed easily. Was talking to other guests they also complained that after arrival they had to spend 1-2 hours with cleaning.

Nice apartment in a countryside villa. The garden and the pool are well maintained, it is a very nice and relaxing area. The apartment has all the necessary equipment and furnished in a nice style. The whole estate is in the middle of Tuscany, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Cortona, Siena, and the Chianti and Val d'Orcia regions are close, in 30-40 minutes driving distance. The facility manager Francesco is very kind and helpful, his attitude brings up this rating to 7.

We left early as it was so uncomfortable and it was very tired. They need to inject some money into the place as photos don’t align to the experience. The beds were rock hard. The dishwasher was faulty for 3-4 days, the sofas were so uncomfortable and the kids beds were unsafe and hard. My son fell off and hurt his leg on a broken chair which they then removed! Wouldn’t recommend to a young family like ours. The pool was dirty and the property is right next to a main road which is really noisy. I am still waiting on a city tax refund and was disappointed they didn’t give us some sort of discount especially as we left early due to poor sleep. Thankfully Booking.com helped us manage everything. I have lots of other bad photos to show but can only upload some.

The area was pretty and the flat was spacious. Some of the views were beautiful but not the main road! The handyman Francesco was responsive and tried to fix things but some of it was unfixable sadly.

this is a remodeled property that was created by separating 2 buildings into 7 units I believe. the walls are completely non sound proof, you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do even if they do it quietly. There are no small windows to open, there are no nets on these large doors, so it’s a challenge to enjoy the fresh air while inside. The cleaning is not thorough, there are killed mosquitos all over the ceiling, I saw some spider webs too. The property needs updating to allow for comfortable stay.

the house is located in a bucolic setting, at night it is completely quiet, the air is very clean. there is parking right on the property. there is plenty of space. our unit did not smell bad in any way
