We had two wonderfull days there. The staff could not be more friendly. Local restaurant was offering delisious meals. Amazing views. Great swimming pool. We definetly recomment to stay at the villa.

The internet connection is ok but there were some hiccups with video calls. Do have plan-b if doing digital nomad.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Katia and Roberta helped us booked the restaurant and wine tour. The location of the site is prime if arriving with car. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would consider stay again next time visiting Tuscany.

While our stay was overall wonderful, there are a few things that could be improved to make the experience even better. We weren’t prepared for the number of mosquitos and bugs around the property—it would be helpful if there were more preventative measures in place, like citronella candles, plug-in repellents, or other insect control both indoors and outdoors. A bit more music throughout the day would also enhance the atmosphere—especially by the pool. There was music during breakfast and once during dinner, but having it more consistently would really elevate the overall vibe, along with the pool bar and deck being used. Lastly, we found the pillows in the rooms to be quite hard and the mattresses could have been more comfortable. For a property of this level, we expected a higher standard in bedding comfort.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. We were given a lovely tour of the property and even offered food and drinks upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch, especially since we arrived midday. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, and although there wasn’t a dedicated pool bar, the team was incredibly attentive—always checking in to see if we needed anything while we relaxed by the pool. The overall vibe of the hotel was calm, relaxing, and truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Sergio, the manager, who was outstanding. On our check-out day, he was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to stay well beyond check-out time due to our travel schedule. His kindness and flexibility really made a difference and left us with such a positive impression. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for stay.

Nothing. One note: the last bit of road leading up to the property (~250m) is gravel. This was no issue for our car (regular hatchback), we just drove slowly. But take it into consideration should you go there in your very low sports car.

I can't think of anything. Perhaps the location is a bit far but there is a train to Chiusi and then a 10 min car ride to the hotel so it's fine.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. You could tell this is a family run business with a lot of care put in. We loved the personalised touches - for example one day we had gone on a long run and missed lunch but there was lovely salad and wine waiting for us at a table once we came back. The owner showed us the vegetable garden and let us pick our rocket leaves for the salad in the evening. The waitress stayed chatting to us about living in London after her shift was done. It was very professional, friendly, clean and with personal touches. The garden and the surrounding area was a tranquil Tuscan green. Loved it.

The people working at Poggio Piglia: Sergio, Sole, Bianca. They made your stay unbelievable. I will never forget our stay there and for sure we’ll come back. We had a cooking class and the chef was really nice and professional. Now we can make a good pasta on our own. We were treated like VIP all the time. If you can find a room in this beautiful place, you must go.

This is very personal but would be something that I'd find useful to read. I have a fear of cats, and there is a friendly cat who lives on the property. The staff were very kind and understanding, but If you have a phobia like mine, just something to consider.

We were looking forward to our stay from the moment we booked it, and it exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, tranquil place to relax in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. Highlights include the incredible views, the pool and amazing breakfast. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond for us with local knowledge and advice. The room was cool and comfortable.

location is a little secluded so you definitely need a car. Dinner at the restaurant was a little over flavoured and complicated and the menu and specials don't change.
