Reviews of POSEA - Polignano Sea Suites

Excellent location. Parking offsite a good distnace away so if you want to do day trip a bit of a challenge. Breakfast is offsite at a local coffee/pasterie venue. If you want a location with a spectacular view and in the center of the downtown, this is the place.

Narrow and steep steps to get to room.

We had a beautiful stay at POSEA, some of the best located suites you can find in the area! The view, spectacular too.

We expected the room to be a bit more private - the door went straight out onto the public path and for the two nights we stayed, there were young people having quite a party in the early hours.

Location was amazing close to Via Roma many restaurants and of course the beach.

Air conditioning was a little weak

The view was amazing and the staff wonderful. Cosimo was particularly helpful. The breakfast that was included was a bonus. I could never eat it all!

Rooms in the old town can be small- but the stonework is absolutely beautiful.

The location is to die for

The location was exceptional, situated in the historic centre overlooking Ponte Borbonico and the gorgeous Lama Monachile beach. The suite was tastefully decorated and very clean. Communication with the property manager was also a highlight, they were very responsive to all of our questions and helped us organise a last minute boat tour of the Polignano a Mare caves. Would highly recommend POSEA - Polignano Sea Suites!

Beautiful room, with a nice view to Lana Monacile Beach and the Ponto Borbónico. Very cool room, high ceiling all stone, great bathroom, fridge with drinks and AC. We could hear the sounds from the room and a nice breeze. Just excellent, would come again. Cosimo and Maria Elisa were beyond helpful, very quick communication. We left the car at a parking they organised and a gold cart drove us to the property. Really great.

Our stay in Polignano a Mare was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to this incredible hotel. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of town with the best view from our room, overlooking the stunning coastline. The service was exceptional, and our host, Cosimo, went above and beyond with amazing recommendations and personal touches. He even organised the best boat tour! Every moment of our stay felt special, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for. We really enjoyed every second and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful part of Italy!

The breakfast was lovely in a nearby cafe that has fabulous pastries. Only a 2 or 3 minute walk from the property.

Amazing view, the best place in the most beautiful beach located in the city center. Clean and new suite installations, very friendly team, thank you Cosimo for everything!!!

Really disliked having to go to cafe for breakfast- poor choice available often no tables Unaware of this at time of booking

Posea is an outstanding and spectacular location in a very special pert of Italy. The apartment itself is immaculate , comfortable and has all the facilities you require. The roof top terrace is incredible , the views like no other. Staff were excellent , outstanding communication and went out of their way for us to offer suggestions, help with luggage. On top of it all there was secure parking provided and a shuttle service to take you to and from the location.

Room was lovely - very small but perfect for a night or two and the view from the balcony is beautiful. However, it is a very small balcony - not somewhere you can sit out if that is what you are booking for/expecting. The breakfast provided at a nearby cafe was excellent.

Whilst the parking and golf buggy transfer is very good, it is complicated to organise and a little chaotic getting to/from your room. Also, be prepared to carry all of your luggage through very busy cobbled streets/up and down big stone steps without help from staff.

Lovely location, view and clean room.

My only concern was we didn’t realize we were 12-15 minutes in a bus from the center of Sorrento. Too far to walk, and up a very narrow dangerous road. There was a shuttle bus every hour which was great, however we couldn’t just leave the accommodation to wander and explore the city as we love to do.

All about the view from the deck we had the big room, go for it. Great vista from the deck probably best in town! Room was very good, nice ample bathroom. Breakfast although down the road a few minutes had an excellent choice and good coffee.

The deck gets full sun in the afternoon and offers zero shade, we rigged up our own umbrella or otherwise couldn’t have stayed on it long. Apparently it does get windy that’s why no umbrella is there. Some form of shade could be offered. The bath towel was so small couldn’t even go around my waist. Even though it’s not their property the deck below which is very much in view is badly in need of tidying up, it does spoil the scene as you look out.

We loved everything about our stay at POSEA. The apartment is gorgeous, the location is perfect, walking distance to many restaurants and multiple beaches. Cosimo was lovely to deal with, we would love to return here to stay again one day.

Cosimo was simply exceptional, great host and the position of the rooms , especially the suite N.1 was unique !!!

We loved the amazing balcony with the stunning view over Lama Monachile, the very friendly staff (Cosimo was extremely helpful ), the prime location in the old town and the beautiful room decor.

This place was perfect with an incredible terrace over looking the beach and the grottos. It was a.short walk to amazing restaurants and the little shops were great

Only complaint was the AC could.have been a little cooler but this would not stop us from staying again nor recommending it to family and friends.
