The staff were friendly, especially the breakfast team, but it would be good to be told a bit more about the area on arrival, restaurants, nearby etc. Beware of the mosquitoes here. They were out in full force in August. The air con wasn't able to be switched down. TV doesn't have access to streaming channels. Breakfast is OK with a good variety of cakes but apart from your basic eggs(scrambled were yummy) you have to pay extra for other varieties of hot food. You can't park outside but a free car park is available 2 min walk across the road. The pool area gets busy and pool service comes with a five euro charge on top. Not all restaurants in the town are open in August so do your research and book ahead for your table.

Gorgeous hotel in a medieval town that was like a film set. It has beautiful frescos inside and is set next to a church. It's a wonderful experience to buzz into a private park to use the hotel pool. The pool was a lovely size with plenty of seating for all. Family friendly and quite a few families with young children and babies. Our room had the mezzanine and a balcony which was great and it was modern and airy and very clean. The town is unique and wonderful to walk around with quite a few options to eat. We liked Vannys the best. Everyone in the town is friendly and welcoming.

No shuttle available from the town/bus station up the hill to the hotel.

The hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful when I needed to figure out how to get to the next town without a car. I will always remember the staff kindness during my visit.

The spa experience at the sister property was wonderful with one major exception. The pools, light therapy showers, steam and sauna were sublime but I found the personal services lacking. The facial was unlike any other I have ever anywhere else in the world. It was a facial massage with cream and the pedicure was a polish change🫨 That being said, I would indulge again sans their personal services. There is also room for improvement in the cosy room where you can enjoy a beverage, it is quite average in its scant beverage selection and use of paper cups, the cosmetic displays behind glass looked aged and in need of freshening up.

I became so enamored with this hotel that during my month long stay in Italy when I found myself nearby and in need of serenity, I decided to make a second extended stay. The staff is courteous and accommodating, the hotel itself is a sumptuous jewel box with impeccable arrangements of impressive antiques and original canvases deftly aligned with modern seating. The restaurant within the hotel has one of the owners on staff that excelled in local food and wine pairing. Thank you Italo. Please remember to avail yourself of the private park and pool across the courtyard, you will be pleasantly surprised.

An amazing view from the room, very spacious and good air conditioning. The bed is really comfortable, and I woke up fully rested. Had a good walk around the beautiful village, it's really pretty at night!

It was unseasonably warm but it was still in heating season. It would have been nice to have access to air conditioning.

The toiletries were very poor. Shampoo and body wash attached to the wall with no conditioner or body lotion provided. During my stay of 4 days I could tell that the same pieces of leftover cheese, salami and cakes came out for breakfast over and over again.

Really nice and comfortable room with a fantastic view. Well located at the entrance of the town and within a minute of a large parking lot that is not visible from the hotel at all.

During our travels around Italy we needed a place to stay for one night and it really is a great find. The Hotel room we got has amazing views over the village and the Umbrian landscape. The host was brilliant and extremely helpful. Will definitely recommend a stay here for a bit of luxury.

The breakfast buffet was really quite poor. Too much selection but not best quality. Think it let the hotel down.

Excellent hotel. Very modern interior of a beautiful building. Upgraded to junior suite. Huge bathroom. Comfortable bed. Hotel pool in private garden was beautiful. The walled town was really lovely too. Had fabulous meals in restaurants close by.

Breakfast was ok but there was nothing special. The dairy products should be provided in cold containers. The restaurant opened fairly late at night in case one is travelling with children. Service at the pool should include to the price and not be charged every time separately. More options for lunch would be appreciated.

Pool area is very elegant. Peaceful place to relax. Nice rooms.
