United KingdomThe fluorescent lighting in the foyer and corridors is not in keeping with the old palazzo charm of the property. The bar could be open during the afternoons to allow residents a short pit-stop when they wish to take a break in the day. The cost of the room was higher than usual for the hotel. It seems to be better priced at other times.
The property is centrally located in the old town and gives easy access on foot to all the old town sights. The staff are friendly. The inner courtyard restaurant, which can be accessed by lift or a beautiful flight of old palazzo steps, is a charming space and serves a lovely breakfast. I had hoped to use the bar located in the inner courtyard but it never seemed to be open. The rooms are stylish and well equipped.

United StatesThe lifts(elevators) were a bit small and a bit slow. Two gentlemen that worked there could have been a bit more helpful.
The location was excellent. It was a short walk to many of the best museums and attractions. The dining room was lovely. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and had a balcony. The young woman who worked the front desk was very helpful. There was a beautiful old tree growing in the central courtyard where the restaurant was.
