Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

The property was very clean, quiet and quaint. It was close to the Metro and walkable distance to restaurants, Vatican City and other sites in Rome. The owner and staff were delightful and a wealth of knowledge on sites to see and how to get there. I highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Grazie Mille to Gianluca and his team. We felt very welcome, got the best restaurant tips, enjoyed the great breakfasts on the cosy rooftop. If we needed anything Ginaluca was always there to help us out. The location is perfect to explore Rom even with little kids. You can reach a lot of sights within 10-15 minutes or take the tube where the next station is just 100meters away. We usually went out 3 times a day with some breaks to shake up the heat in the nice climatized room. We definitely come again.

Loved everything about this exceptional B&B—Location, value, cleanliness and most of all, the support from the host, Gianluca. He was very attentive to every need we had. To start, upon arrival, he spent time giving us a thorough breakdown of the location and recommended spots to eat, tour and most importantly the metro system. If you’re looking for a prime location in Rome, this is it—hopefully it’s not already booked on your selected dates. Will definitely return to this B&B, the next time I return to Rome.

United StatesWe didn’t want to leave. It was such a nice day. We really enjoyed it.
QuodLibet is conveniently located, near to the famous Roman attractions, has easy access to the metro, and walkable access to most of the city. The owner and the staff at the bed-and-breakfast, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. At the end of our stay, we were sad to go because we felt like family. The rooms were furnished with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, plush towels, and custom art. Very beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was wonderful. And there’s a wide variety of food to choose from. Whether it’s a simple slice of toast and yogurt, or eggs, bacon, fruit, etc. they have you covered.

United StatesThe only thing that I felt could have been better was the shower in our room did not work well. The water pressure was light and it was difficult to regulate the water temperature.
The location of this property was just perfect. We were able to easily walk or use the metro to go everywhere. The rooms were charming and stayed cool in spite of the very warm temperatures. The breakfast included each morning up on the terrace was just the perfect way to start everyday.

SingaporeA working safe in the room
Amazing place, 2 min away from tube station and less than 10 minutes walking from the Vatican. We had a family room for 4 people / incredibly spacious and comfortable. The only minor improvement that I would suggest is to add a safe. The well curated breakfast is served in a patio on the terrace - fantastic wake up. Gianluca the host is a lovely person to talk with who will happily spend time with the guests sharing stories and recommendations about his beautiful city for great food away from tourist traps and sightseeing. We have enjoyed his place and definitely will be back. And also have enjoyed his company and the best cappuccino in town by his lovely staff. Thank you for everything.

SpainWe have spent 4 days in Rome (family of four). We stayed in a room for 4 persons. Everything was perfect. The room had one big bed (king size) and two individual beds. We had a coffee machine in the room and new coffee capsules every day. In the common area, there was a small kitchen with different types of tea, cookies and all we could need to have some food (microwave, dishes, cutlery, etc). The terrace was open all day and we used it a couple of nights to eat our own food. Gianlucca gave us plenty of recommendations to visit Rome. He was very nice and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. The personnel in the hotel were also very, very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the place. It is located on the fourth floor of a building, with just a few rooms. The breakfast was served on the terrace, in a lovely glass room with just a few tables. We needed some special food requirements and we had no problem with it. The location is excellent. A few minutes from Vatican, with metro and buses, restaurants, some small supermarkets and take away food places. In all, we would definitely go back to Gianlucca and Connie's place if we ever visit Rome again.

United KingdomThe only annoying thing was the noise the communal lift made when someone forgot to close the doors. But it's not something QuodLibet can do much about. Once inside the apartment you couldn't hear the noise.
Quod Libet is a charming Bed&breakfast only 10 minute walk away from the Vatican and a few meters from the next metro station. This makes exploring Rome very easy. A lot of care has been taken over detail, including a little kitchen that guests can use to boil water, make tea/coffee (there are also facilities in the room) or store items in a fridge. Breakfast is served in a conservatory on the roof one floor up (the rooms are located on the top floor of a mansion block) and is plentiful and served with a personal touch. It includes bread, croissants, yoghurt, fresh fruit, made-to-order eggs, cheese&meats, great coffee. Above all that, Gianluca is a super friendly and helpful host.

Location was good. A short walk to The Vatican. A 5 minute walk to The Metro Ottaviano. Plenty of cafes, restaurantes and shops close by. Breakfast Room was on the roof terrace. Breakfast was excellent for us. Room was clean and tidy. A bonus for us was a fully equiped kitchen close to our room. Gianlucca, our host was brilliant. Provided us with maps of the city and used a marker pen to highlight walking routes around the City. Worked perfectly for us. Always available to answer any questions we had. The 3 other staff working there were also very good. Safe in the room.

The hotel is unexpectedly good with welcoming and hospitable personnel who is always ready to help and showed us the main attractions and restaurants to start with. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Vatican along straight street. Bus stops and metro station are just 5 minutes away by feet. The owners offer fresh breakfast every morning. FinlandWe just loved staying in QuodLibet, this was the nicest accommodation I've had in Rome on vacations or business trips. The room and the bathroom were spacious and charming, the beds were very good, the minibar handy and affordable, breakfast in the beautiful roof terrace an excellent start for the day. There was also a big tv with plenty of channels and functions when we needed to rest after full days. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The location near metro is very handy and for us especially the walking distance to Stadio Olimpico was perfect (and bus 32 in front of the hotel goes near Stadio too). We know where we want to stay when we come to see football again (Daje Roma:)!
