How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewApartment was a good size, had everything we needed. Nice little welcome pack on arrival with essentials. Beds really comfortable. Pools clean and good sun loungers. Little park for kids to play. Short walk from the lake and restaurants. Quiet area.
Apartment 1 was right above reception and seemed to be a way to access the rest of the properties. This meant we had people walking right past the room on our balcony so wasn’t as private as maybe some of the other rooms.

Hot tub only available to handful of apartments and hardly seemed to be used when we would have loved to get 30mi s use of it but didn’t have a deluxe apartment. Think it should be available to more apartments to use at set times.

Few pieces that in our opinion should have been checked before our arrival. Had to empty the jam packed dishwasher from previous guests who put an ashtray in the dishwasher leading to us having to wash every dish due to the smell. One of the duvet covers was stained on the outside but inside the bed was clean - we were giving clean sheet to replace this. Curtain in living area had a food stain on it quite high up - we were told this was cleaned after we raised this to the attention of reception however it wasn’t.

Verified reviewReally nice holiday place, spacious appartment with basic equipment in the kitchen. Beautiful view over the garden and the lake! Nice swimming pool.
The fridge was not having all the pieces inside (the drawer for fruits was missing and also other shelfs inside the fridge - they should be replaced).

It was written that our deluxe room has private jacuzzi. But it was shared with other people. And it was so cold. We were 7 people in 3 bedroom apartment but there were only 2 toilet paper rolls ,2 coffee capsules in the welcome box.

It's an issue with the website you booked through, as it doesn't allow us to specify or add to the description that the jacuzzi is shared among the deluxe apartments. If you had scrolled through the pictures of your apartment, you would have found one with a photo of the jacuzzi and the text "shared jacuzzi deluxe apartments." The welcome kit we offer is complimentary. We're a self-catering apartment complex, so technically, we don't even have to provide one. However, we've set up a mini-market on site where you can buy essential products like toilet paper. I hope to see you again at Relais Rosa dei Venti. Thomas

Verified reviewVery clean and comfortable, only a couple of minutes walk to the lake with cafés and boardwalk. Easy check-in and check-out, parking garage on site. Each apartment has a terrace, the view varies depending on location. The swimming pools looked very nice.
Check out at 9.30 is far too early, this is not typical. We had to leave in the morning anyway, but otherwise would have been annoying.

Verified reviewThe bathroom curtain was white and almost transparent, and we couldn't feel there in private. The rooms were hot, but the air conditioners didn't work and we couldn't open the windows due to mosquitos
Hi Arie, I see that not everything met your expectation, I am sorry about that. In the bathroom there is a white curtain, but there is also a shutter. Mosquitos with a temperature between 10-20° are not alive, what you sow, are insects. No other guests complained about this, probably these insects come and go, and it would have been enough to turn off the lights and wait few minutes. With a temperature from 10 to 20° C, air condition is not working. At least in the standard apartments. I can not understand the problem with the location. Booking show it clearly on the map, where we are, on internet you can get as many information as you want about what you are choosing and where you are going to stay. All the best, Thomas

Not much kitchen utensils for cooking. Knives for example are dull.
