Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongThe air conditioning wasn’t overly effective at cooling the large spaces. The WiFi was spotty at best.
The rustic nature of this charming old home and the host was excellent. Very welcoming and attentive host contributing to a homely stay. Quiet neighbourhood with an excellent cafe / bakery almost next door.

SwedenMobile network coverage is bad in the area and the WiFi doesn’t reach the apartment. If you are one of those who like to be off the grid it’s fine

United KingdomNothing to say, for the price we paid we were happy with everything!
Simone was the best host. She made us feel welcome and looked after every day! Without interefereing. The flat she offers has a real authentic feel but also offers the shelter of a garden, which made our stay really pleasant. Location is great for reaching everything in Piza too. I definitely recommend for group od friends, or couples.

The location and the hosts were top-notch. The stay is comfortable and close to everything you will need in Pisa. It's definitely a local feel, and we loved their pet turtles wandering the grass in the courtyard!

United KingdomNothing not to like, really good accommodation to stay in Pisa.
Location was perfect to visit the attractions in Pisa, with only a very short walk to the river and restaurants, Only a 10min walk from the tower, also perfect, and central for the PIsa City wall walk. Our host Simona, who resides close by was available and took her time to ensure our stay was comfortable and everything to our liking. Would highly recommend and definitely use again if we are in the area.

AustraliaWifi was a little weak if you want to watch a movie but works for most things.
Great location in the heart of the old city. There is a private garden to enjoy which is very quiet and has bonus turtles! The apartment is really huge with a full kitchen but there are great restaurants about 3 minutes walk away.

LithuaniaThe place was a little too cold, but the host asked us about the temperature at the time of departure and I believe they will adjust it. One thing to know though is that there is not much natural light inside the flat.
The stay overall was great and the host was so attentive - she greeted us with some water, cookies and recommended places to visit / restaurants to eat at.

HungaryEverything was just great.
This place definitely has a charm. It is in the old part of Pisa, cca 12-15 mis walk from the Tower. The apartment is huge, very tuscan-y with a lovely garden where turtles are "walking" around. It has everything you would need for a short or a longer stay in Pisa, a fully equipped kitchen, big bedroom and bathroom - both very stylish, uniquely mixing old and new. Our host was so lovely, she looked after us very well. We could not wish for a better stay in Pisa.

United KingdomReally lovely and authentic Italian maisonette with loads of space. Loved the access to the peaceful central courtyard/garden to relax at end of busy sightseeing day. Clean and really well equipped with small items to help self catering. Great central location close to main sights and places to eat. Host Simona was brilliant with lots of information from point of booking and during our stay - much appreciated. Would definitely recommend to others as a great place to stay.
