Kitchen was well equipped with exception of cheese grater. The landscape was beautiful.

Pool restaurant closes at 10am

The Residence is really cute, nice pool, free washer, beautifull nature. The beds were comfortable.

The sofa in the living room/kitchen smelled of humidity (mold). There were small yellow ants everywhere in the appartment.

No clear non-smoking policy - in fact we were assigned to a room where the previous tenant must have smoked intensively. After one dreadful night we could move to another apartment No toaster, electric water kettle, electric coffee machine It took up to 10 min. for warm water to start Very small bathroom, in fact the toilet can only be used with open shower. Well, after a shower feet (and clothing) may get wet.

The area is paradise birds singing 24/7 beautiful lands ape and views. Found a beach and small harbour just up the right and to the right of the hotel signs to Hotel Mare. Beautiful views and amenities. People were friendly and welcoming. Sirwar Receptionist was so motivated in ensuring I got around without a car and advised on buses I could use so be prepared as it required some walking to reach bus stops but glad I done it!!

The apartments are in an idyllic location but poor on public transport access as it is not in portoferraio it is in Magazzini which had only two buses a day serving in that location. If you have no car expect lot of walking. The taxi service are extortionate as they charge you from the time they travel to collect you then once they have collected you so double the fair. No pavements in Sienna or outside of Portoferraio so have to be delligent and careful when walking on the side of the roads. Shower could of been better situated.

Pool not full and therefore not usable as promised. Pool side bar closed. Restaurant not open at all. Apartment small and cold.

The apartment was spacious. It had patio with furniture. Dryer for wet towels and swimming suites was provided. Covered parking space for the car.

The drain in the shower did not work. After we took the shower the bathroom was flooded. The toilet was almost in the shower. Fridge didn't work when we arrived - it was promptly fixed when we reported it to the reception but it was a nuisance. You don't want to deal with the stuff like this during your vacation. We didn't like the location so much - you are lost without the car (but that applies for all island of Elba). The closest beach which can be reached by foot is nothing special.

The apartment is in a large complex with its own restaurant - plenty of parking and would appear safe for kiddies - and a nice pool area. Walking distance to a restaurant and the beach - although the glorious sandy beaches of Elba are a short drive away.

The apartment appeared 'tired' with only the very basic of equipment. No kettle or microwave. Wifi not the best with a shortage of useable power sockets.

Swimming pool. Nice views from the apartment.

Restaurant was horrible. Pizza was completly black. The staff of restaurant was unpleasant.

The pool, the nice green sourroundings, quite a good base to discover the island, but you need a car. Appartement has a good size, good bed. Supermarket and a nice beach with stunning sunset just near by.
