Lovely family run hotel - Amerigo was so welcoming. It's brilliant value for money, the breakfast was delicious and nothing felt like too much trouble. We loved the sea platform, and the upstairs terrace. Having the option to cook in our apartment was also great. Great to be walking distance from Forio, but on the sea & easy to get to the bus stop to travel around the island.

Location in town, Exceptional terrace. The host was exceptionally friendly generous and caring far beyond what one would expect. Very pleasant atmosphere together with very good home-made food where the whole family is involved in the business.

The air con needed changing which was addressed asap.

The views of the sea were amazing with a beautiful sun deck. The owner was so friendly and the breakfast was out of this world. A perfect holiday for sure. With great water facilities thrown in for free. We shall be returning soon.

We loved everything from when we arrived until we left. Amerigo and his family went over and above to make holiday stay special for each guest. Apt was refreshed daily. Restaurant food and staff excellent. Lovely sea walk to Fornio Amerigo gave us lift to local Thermal gardens and also drop us to ferry at 6.30 am. Thanks all

The furniture is quite old and shaky. Don't expect modern apartment.

Exceptional was the owner Amerigo & his family. We had a warm welcome and support during whole stay, felt like part of the family. He offered us as well several times free shuttle. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy, all wishes were covered. The location next to the beach and city Forio was perfect. The terrace is directly at the sea with sunbeds and direct access to the water. Only 100 m to the beach. Bus stop 300 m. We stayed in apartment 1, which has big balcony and provides everything you need for comfortable stay, including kitchen. We can highly recommend to stay La Rotonda.

Great location, stairs directly to the water. Took a kayak for a nice afternoon on the sea. Above all, Amerigo is an amazing host. Very recommended!

The rooms are a little bit small but if you are planning to just sleep there it is sufficient. Be prepare for a lot of mosquitos!

Amerigo, who runs the place, will do everything so you can have a comfortable stay. The breakfast (you can also get an omelette!) is served on a deck, where you can enjoy the sun and the sea and relax for free. The same goes for dinner. Very nice area - it is a small paradise with direct access to the sea. Forio is a 10minutes walk by the sea, restaurants are closer but you can easily eat at the resort. We definitely want to come back. Btw, at home I realised that Amerigo reminds me of Steve Carell :))

That our time there came to an end

It's in a great location , the place is well kept , the staff are friendly and very helpful. The owner Amerigo is a godsend and makes your stay a special one. Nothing is a problem for him , his home made wine and the home grown vegetables they use in the cooking of the meals they serve are superb and the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants.

The location is amazing. The property is directly on the coast, you can watch across the bay while eating your breakfast/dinner. The beaches of Ischia are beautiful, you can reach a public sand beach directly from the property. The rooms we saw had a fully equipped kitchen, one even had a washing machine. The restaurant offers authentic Ischian food in the evening. They have their own wine, use vegetables from their own garden. The family has a long tradition on the island and the host can tell you everything you want to know about the area, the history and the activities around there.

Amerigo hasn't changed. Our 3rd time back and will be there again. He is so accommodating and nothing is too much hassle for him. He and his family Just made our whole stay superb. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend his place to anybody

we loved the property

The hotel is right on the water and has an amazing deck for sunbathing and swimming. Breakfast lunch and dinner are all available on the deck with amazing views. Amerigo and his family are wonderful hosts and really look after the guests very well; we were picked up from Forio port. The hotel is relaxed the food is great and you can walk to Forio and in 10 minutes. Can’t wait to return .
