Residenza Matilda was super clean. The location in the village was perfect. The bed was large and comfortable. The staff, Fabia and Mika where very helpful and charming. We would love to go back there and highly recommend the accommodation and hill top village.

Our stay in Residenza Matilde and Fiumefreddo Bruzio was amazing! Our room had a small balcony with great views to the sea! Dario was so kind and took very much care of us, he gave us great recommendations for our visit. The old town is very beautiful and there is so much so discover. We want to come back! Thank you for your hospitality Dario!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at these apartments! The view from the window was simply breathtaking, and it made our experience even more special. The host, Fabio, was incredibly kind and an amazing person. His warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

Accommodation was super clean and easy to find. Great Osteria just a few steps away for dinner. Parking nearby is free. Beautiful little town with amazing views. Well worth a visit we would definitely stay again.

I loved the three nights I spent at Residenza Matilde. Brother and sister, Fabio and Tania, were wonderful and first class hosts. I saw Tania everyday and she was helpful in every way, with immediate answers to any questions. My room was perfect, with a balcony view to die for, and breakfast every morning was perfect. The location is right in the center of this charming hilltop village with free, easy parking a short walk away, and numerous wonderful restaurants too. I highly recommend Residenza Matilde if you’re planning to visit Fiumefreddo Bruzio.

Excellent location in a beautiful and charming village! Sparkling clean. Breakfast was awesome….home made cakes by Momma! Host Fabio is so kind and accommodating…ran around on a cold, blowing night to find us a place to park. Cannot recommend this place and this village enough!

This was one of the best places we stayed in our bikepacking trip. Fabio is a wonderful host who truly cares about your experience. He recommended a great restaurant with traditional regional food (and good wine!). The rooms have been remodeled and updated are extremely clean.

Nothing, everything was wonderful

The property and host surpassed all expectations. Where do we begin!! The location is wonderful. The charming, beautiful village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio is small, but not to be underestimated. With beautiful 360 views of mountains and sea from the Castillo, this town was definitely a highlight on our Italian road trip. The accommodation is stylishly arranged and super clean, with everything you need. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly! They really do make you feel at home and ensure you are well taken care of throughout the whole stay. Me and my family cannot recommend this place enough!
