Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Breakfast was excellent. I was in a single room which was small but just right. The location in the middle of town but in plenty of space with on site parking was fantastic.

Singaporestaff not so friendly, and we were made to pay for extras person who is a child sharing beds with us. food was for bfast spread was limited in choices and dinner ala carte menus did not have many variety options, and no kids meal. plus it being costly compare to restaurants outside.
stayed here to partake in La Stelvio Road Bike Racing, expected for the hotel and others to surge in pricing and occupancy. hence parking was almost full and has to park across the street due to limited parking space in the hotel compound, albeit the parking further away was under the hotel jurisdiction. the family room at level 5 was huge with 2 adjoining room and the toilet has auto louvres to allow for cold air and ventilation to come in naturally.

United KingdomThe lack of air conditioning and the surly waiter at breakfast.
This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel. The check in staff are amazing, so genuinely friendly. Our room was fairly basic and did not have air conditioning, which made for a fairly uncomfortable night as the temperature that day had been 30 degrees. Apparently there is no air conditioning throughout the hotel, something I feel they should review. Lovely dining area if you choose to eat in the hotel, we didn't as there are some fabulous bars/restaurants in Bormio. The drinks are quite expensive, €15 for a gin & tonic! Extensive selection of food for breakfast, we were spoilt for choice. The waiters were not particularly attentive and didn't offer 'service with a smile'! Ideal location if you are going skiing, or heading to the Stelvio Pass. Popular with cyclists, but a dress code should be in place, acres of lycra over breakfast is not palatable! 🤢

United KingdomRooms are large but basic for a 4 star hotel. Only one plug socket in the room and no tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom very small, a larger person would struggle in the shower. The underground carpark is small and the ramp in / out is steep and easy to scrape on low sports cars. There is limited availability, but reception staff do there best to organise spaces. There is mould dripping from the ceiling and so soft top convertible cars should beware! Good choice of breakfast, but there needs to be a coffee machine as service was slow.
Reception and bar staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Location is excellent, right in the centre of Bormio and close to mountain passes.Lovely outside bar area with view of the mountains.

United KingdomWobbly table on the balcony 🤣
Very friendly welcoming staff, unfortunately one bedroom hadn’t been completely cleaned but after speaking to reception it was sorted very quickly with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and fruit platter as an apology. Beautiful views from the balcony. Lovely breakfast choices.

United KingdomParking was not available despite asking beforehand, and it was tricky to find one during peak season. No hairdryer available upon request ( only one available for the entire building!).
The room is comfortable, with a small terrace facing the main road. Very basic utilities provided (No kettle nor mini bar in the room).Breakfast is ok. Located in the centre of Bormio, skilifts (Bormio 2000) are 2-3 km away, no private shuttle provided. Bus stop is approx 100 mt from the hotel, with buses running every 20-30 min.

AustraliaLittle free parking. You probably have to arrive quite early in the day, i.e. just after others have checked out to get a free parking spot. The hotel has paid parking garage if the free parking is full, which we did for the first night, then the next day after others had left, we managed to move the car into a free spot. The temperature in the room runs warm but I think this would be really lovely in the winter :)
The staff were really helpful and made a takeaway breakfast package for us, as we had a early start and had to get going before breakfast opened. We did join the breakfast buffet on our final morning and this was also lovely. Handy location for all the things we wanted to do while in Bormio. The room was as expected with comfy bed, small desk/chair and private bathroom.
