I stayed one night at the Rifugio and had the best experience ever. The service was unbelievable. The hospitality, the food, the view, the room - everything was amazing!!! Alberto, the owner, was so helpful in picking us up from the parking lot and taking us to the refuge. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Spectacular and tranquil location, with truly excellent food and service. Hiking from the refuge was breathtaking, especially Becco d’Ajal & Gores de Federa routes. Worked great with our 3 year old! He could play in sight all round the little lake as we enjoyed a romantic meal.

The cozy mountain feel, great rooms and excellent food is the perfect combination for a relaxing getaway. That we couldn’t stay longer

We loooved the location. Perfect short distance from Cortina (10/15mins) while still feeling like you’re in the middle of pure nature. It’s breathtaking. We stayed for 2 nights to do some hiking in the Dolomiti. It was unforgettable. The accommodation is done to taste! The food was exceptional and the location was exactly what we needed to unwind and immerse ourselves in beautiful green nature. Having only 2 rooms at the Refugio guarantees pure relaxation. And Alberto and family are wonderful, generous hosts who have created something truly special. Recommend!

Google map indicated the wrong way to the hotel. And the way to access the hotel is not smooth as it is gravel road. In rainy day and winter, accessing to hotel must be 4 wheels.

You cannot underestimate the route to the property. We nearly fell off the edge of the cliff in the car. I would really think about how you would get there before booking. If it was raining or snowing etc. it would be near impossible

The location is beautiful!! There are only two rooms which we weren’t expecting, both had balconies overlooking an idyllic pond and pine trees. Breakfast was amazing- they made omelettes and had assorted pastries and juices- we felt very spoiled. They reserved a table for us for dinner which was delightful, best goulash we’ve ever had. A hidden gem for sure
