Firstly the staff here are welcoming and exceptional. They assisted us with information about the town, restaurants etc.. also made excellent suggestions as to the route we should take while continuing our travels to Puglia. We were treated to a most beautiful visit to the old village of Pescocostanzo which we would not have had only for the assistance of the staff.

The A/C in our room wasn't very strong so it was a little warmer than we would've preferred. We went in the beginning of summer so it wasn't unbearable outside. Opening the windows in the evening kept it cool and the A/C did cool the room down during the night.

The breakfast had a wide selection and was fully stocked with fresh items. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Gianluca went out of his way to draw us a map for exploring Italy on the way to our next destination. The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. Spacious room. We liked that all the windows have screens which was great for keeping bugs out. The hotel's location can't be beat too. We rented a car and parked easily outside.

Having to leave!

It was attractive, comfortable, with a great breakfast and the best coffee we have had in Italy prepared by Rosanna. It is a family -run hotel and all members of the family were delightful and very helpful. Angela organised for us to visit a chapel with frescoes that we particularly wished to see. We would be very happy to recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to repeat our visit.

Hotel Rojen is a wonderful, warm, and cozy hotel with amazing hosts. We stayed three nights and found our room and bathroom to be extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We are so happy we selected this family owned hotel with a modern lift in a perfect location. Supposedly, there is a taxi in town. We took a bus from the train station to the hotel. However, if you need to get to the station, I would suggest reserving the hotel shuttle. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

I honestly can’t think of anything. The price is a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case.

Perfectly located in old town. A visually stunning inside with very friendly and helpful staff. GianLucca knew we would want to eat dinner early and directed us to one of the only places that serves before 7PM. Breakfast was brought to our room and it was a spectacular selection. This is a wonderful welcoming location in Sulmona with a first rate hotel.

There is nothing I didn’t like

The property was lovely.Nicely decorated and very clean .The owners were very hospitable and made our trip an experience of a lifetime with their lovely service .The hotel was centrally located making days out a wonderful experience sightseeing,,walking through town going to cafes , shopping , seeing the churches and experiencing the beautiful foods and wines of Sulmona .Sulmona was a dream holiday for me .Something I will never forget .I can’t wait to go back .

I cannot fully express how lovely this hotel was .It is a family run hotel in the center of Sulmona .The location was just perfect to walk leisurely to the shops ,cafe’s, churches and restaurants .Sulmona is one of the most peaceful areas that I have ever visited .The owners of the hotel , Mamma Rosanna ,Gianluca and Angela were absolutely lovely host who made our visit very memorable and special with their wonderful hospitality.The hotel was exceptionally clean ,as was my bedroom .My bedroom was spacious ,decorated nicely and extremely comfortable. I would more than highly recommend the Hotel Rojan to all who come to visit Sulmona .You will not be disappointed and I guarantee that you too will have a wonderful experience ,like I did.

The hotel is amazing. We were lucky to park our car nearby the hotel. The host Jeanluke was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of the old town close to many restaurants. The hotel was high class in everything including very rich breakfast. We sure will be back again.

Perfect location to explore Sumona! Property very well maintained and the staff was excellent. Very helpful and went above and beyond in cleaning and organizing our room. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend if you are traveling in this area.

The only thing missing for us was outdoor space to sit and have a glass of wine or read. (But this is our desire not everyone wants outdoor space) Other than that the hotel is really a special place!

The best part of Hotel Rojan is the family that owns the hotel. They were absolutely fabulous! Very helpful with ideas about where to hike and what to see! Super kind! Great breakfast and great location! The hotel is right in the heart of town with good restaurants within walking distance. But book in advance as they fill up fast! There is good hiking in the area but you need a car to get to most places outside of Sulmona.

Super cozy property held by a very nice family. Location is in the center of Sulmona, very close to Confetti stores and restaurants. The tennants were extremely nice to us and gave us great advice on where to get confetti and where to eat. Definitely recommend it!

What more could they do? Great communication from the start, smooth check-in, wonderful room, delightful breakfast, and most importantly, such a personal attention to every detail made our stay just lovely. Would really enjoy a return trip there. Be sure to ask for recommendations on where to eat and what to see. They are quite knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything! The hotel was super clean and neat. You could tell the owners took pride in it. I liked the attention to detail like the embossed napkins, and engraved china hotel logo, but it was the hotel staff and the owners that made the biggest difference especially Angela! She was beyond accommodating and a wealth of knowledge about local activities and what to do in the surrounding areas. The breakfast was great with a good variety
