How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe stay at Hotel Romina was really great, the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The room was spacious enough and clean, there was also a balcony with a partial sea view. The hotel is near a busy street, within walking distance to everything, breakfast with a wide selection, we were very satisfied and definitely recommend it

Verified reviewNice, cozy little hotel close to the beach right at the main street, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, having clean and comfortable room and lovely, abundant food for breakfast. We had a very pleasant time there and would be back for sure! Thank you!!
Earplugs are useful for sleeping if the room looks at the busy street ;) and a drying rack would be helpful on the balcony - although these were only small inconveniences, we enjoyed our time there a lot!

Verified reviewGreat location and we could reach all the necessary amenities within mins including shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. There is also several buses that pass by to take you into Rimini central or Riccione central.
In the rooms it could get slightly heated but there is an AC available at a cost.

Verified reviewBreakfast was very good: cooked food such as eggs and sausages, fresh veggies and fruits, toasts, spreads, cereals, milk, fresh cuts cheese and ham, cold and warm beverages, yogurt, pastries etc. Daily cleaning, change of towels and supply of toiletries. Very friendly and helpful staff, all (receptionists, kitchen staff, cleaning lady)! Location was perfect, close to bus stations but away enough from too much noise. Close to many restaurants and shops, gelaterias and the beach. Rimini center and the airport is reachable by local buses within approx 15min ride. There is a nice terrace on the 3rd floor. Many entertainment places for kids.
We had economy double room. The room and its shower were small but the price was decent and we found it acceptable for short-term stays. If you plan to stay longer please know that AC and fridge are available at extra charge.

Verified reviewWe loved staying at Romina and we definitely will stay here again when we come back to Rimini. Everything was perfect, clean, and comfortable. The beach is literally on your doorstep, and the breakfasts were more than enough (variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, croissants, sweets, coffee, etc.) Even with a language barrier we had great conversations and everyone is very friendly.

Verified reviewFriendly welcome on check-in and continued with all interactions for our stay. All staff were great to interact with, and a credit to Hotel Romina. Lovely reception and bar on ground floor - serves a great cappuccino..... Room though classed as basic, was great - double bed, balcony, hanging rail for clothes, shelving, night tables beside bed, full length mirror, ensuite shower room, roller shutter and small balcony, space under bed to store suitcase... plus air con available for €5 per night. Breakfast - great choice of food items (hot and colsmd), good coffee and choice of pre or fresh squeezed orange juice. Room was attended to daily.... Upper floor terrace area with comfy seating, great to sit out and have an early or end of evening drink and relax.
Nothing.

Verified reviewThe staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere was nice. The hotel is very close to the beach. The rooms are cleaned every day and there is air conditioning. I think that most rooms come with a small balcony.
The rooms are quite small, there could be more shelves or racks for your clothes, especially if you're not going alone. The bathroom is also quite small.

Verified reviewWe had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Romina in Rimini! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff welcomed us warmly, especially Alfonso, who went above and beyond. He helped us with everything: where to find the best local fruit, which beach to visit, the best restaurants in the area, how/where to catch the bus, anything we need. The hotel's location is perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the lovely housekeeper lady did a great job of keeping everything clean every day. Another big bonus was the terrace on the third floor, which guests could enjoy. We spent the evenings up there eating pizza, having drinks, and enjoying the view. On top of it all, the hotel offered discounts for various local spots, which was a pleasant surprise. Honestly, we did not expect this level of quality and service for the price. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will recommend it to anyone heading to Rimini. Grazie mille!
There was nothing we disliked, but adding mini fridges in the rooms would be great, and the beds might feel too firm for smaller guests or those who prefer softer mattresses.

Verified reviewThere was an issue in Hotel Romina because of the heavy rain. Because of that they told us to go to Hotel Sunset which is more close the the city center. We got a room with sea view which I liked. The breakfast was great and everyone in the hotel was smiling 😀

Had a very pleasant stay there, will be back for sure. Have been in Rimini multiple times, this is so far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

Verified reviewThe staff at the hotel, including the owner (who even recognised us at a restaurant one day and gave us a wave), front desk staff and breakfast staff, were so welcoming and friendly. They are the biggest asset to the hotel and were always upbeat and eager to help. This is the advantage of staying at a small, independent hotel. The breakfast was good and included cereal, cold meats, boiled or scrambled eggs, fruit, rolls, croissants, juice, coffee, etc. As an alternative to the stairs there is an elevator if you need it. The foyer is spacious, air conditioned and has very comfortable seats. Our room was big enough for my wife and I to move around without getting in each others way and included a wardrobe and draws. The room had very good air conditioning.
The shower cubicle was a bit small, but did not cause my wife or I any problems. Water pressure and temperature was good. Bathroom was small but fine for one person at a time.
