The mattress was not very firm, but I am certain this will be something the hotel management takes into account when doing renovations. It certainly was not bad.

Excellent service by the two receptionists/coffee baristas/guides. The breakfast was amazing. The facility, although a bit dated, was clean and the room was comfortable. Although there is very little parking at the back of the hotel, via Aurelia had a number of spots and we had no problem parking. The windows are soundproofed and we could not hear the sound of the train or traffic.

The room was bigger than expected. It was very modern, clean, had everything I needed (including AC). The staff were lovely, so helpful and kind. I was worried it would be noisy at night but again I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the breakfast too, very good variety of food and drinks. The location was excellent, close to the beach, the port, and the railway station. I highly recommend this hotel and if I return to Rosignano I'll definitely stay there again. Thank you :)

Where to start, it was a lucky find. Rosignano is a seafront location 35 minutes away from Pisa train station by train. Great location if you are tired of typical English tourist spots. The area is full of AUTHENTIC restaurants, little shops, cafes, and gelato places where people were queuing to get in even at 11 p.m. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes walk from the public beach, and 10 minutes walk from the supermarket. Hotel rooms are cleaned every day to a high standard, staff is polite, rooms are lovely, and air conditioning kicks in prior to your arrival! It's a quiet accommodation with no kids or loud party people—a couple's dream. Breakfast is fresh and typical Italian (no Full English Breakfast, because you are in Italy!). Vegetables are organic from their vegetable garden; it makes all the difference. Delicious pastries and fresh fruit, real coffee from the espresso machine (cappuccino, espresso, or Americano) just ask. It's a family business, and Ionela is there ready to help 99% of the time! I even forgot my external hard drive in our room, and Ionela posted it to my desired address without any fuss. All that's left to say is a big Thank You! to everyone at Hotel Rosignano Solvay for a perfect holiday. Andrea and Nick

I booked this 3-star Hotel for my 75 year old parents. Booking included breakfast. They were humiliated at breakfast. Staff member and a woman sitting in the ‘empty’ breakfast room (who we believe was supervising) followed my parents around checking what they took for breakfast. My mum drank a small coffee only, and took the breakfast away with her as she doesn’t eat too early in the morning. She was stopped by staff and reprimanded. My dad took 1 small croissant and a coffee and approached the buffet table to get something else but he was followed and watched, so he gave up and left. An absolute disgrace. Shameful. We get better service and welcome from places that don’t even have 1 star.

It was rather warm in the hallway and the lobby. Also, the breakfast could’ve been a bit richer!

It was quiet, and the AC came to good use. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.
