The bathrooms were a bit dated and not airy. The restaurant is very beautiful and with some good options for dinner, but there are plenty of other good restaurants close by too.

Location was easy to find and the views were outstanding. The penthouse was very spacious, breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The pool was very clean and surrounded by plenty of deck chairs.

Some of the photos have not been up to date. Especially our kid was a bit sad that there was no diving board at the pool as shown in the pictures. The pool seems bigger in the pictures. We arrived 2 hours earlier then check in and had to come back later. There was not even an option to wait at the pool area or at the restaurant.

The landscape was beautiful. You can have dinner outside in the yard when you ask for it. With an amazing view.

Didn't have corkscrew/wine opener in room. Hair dryer socket needed to be activated (should have already done this prior to check-in). Shower was small. Front desk staff unfriendly/ unwelcoming. It was hard to get our luggage easily into the area to access rooms at night. There are big planters blocking the paved pathways around the building so we had to pull the luggage over the gravel.

Easy to get to Siena. Restaurant on site was very good - food and especially the staff! Quiet property with character. Had plenty of towels. Hotel was able to arrange for late check-in and gave clear directions.

Beautiful, historic house. The property was excellent, with stunning views of the countryside. It was incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect retreat. The staff was helpful and welcoming and provided us with local recommendations.

It is a little difficult to find. Further off the highway than expected. It was cloudy and rainy so we weren't there to use the pool or spa but to go and see towns in Tuscany.

The rooms were dark. The windows need screens and the beds and bathrooms need updating.

We loved the architecture and the grounds were beautiful. The kitchen and dining were fantastic. The location was great for visiting Siena. We ate at the restaurant every night and were not disappointed. The breakfast was wonderful.

The rooms were full of insects and the beds were bumpy and the bathroom was from another era: so old and rusty. but what could be fixed: the staff (special mention to Francesco) did fix as best as they could.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. we had some beetles in the room and a lightbulb didn't work etc. and the staff did everything to fix our problems immediatly. the view is astonishing and the Borgo has so much charm and tranquility.

Matrace was worn out, airconditioning was extrimely loud and inefficient in the room. Breakfast was the exact same during the 6 days stay, veggies were not fresh. No diary and gluten free options at breakfast, needed to wait 5 days to get even soya milk… No cuttlery, palates and glasses at the apartman despite we asked for to get them. I think the place has great potentials but would need some skilled management to make it.

Special atmosphere of the monastry was very nice. Big pool and big garden.

Set in a centuries-old building with exposed wooden beams, our flat was a spacious retreat, full of antiques and offering great views of the countryside. The hotel feels like it's awaiting a big transformation to become a luxury spot, but if you can overlook some minor details, it still offers a unique experience. The staff are super attentive, and the pool is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.

Our apartment was on the ground floor at the courtyard, and in the evenings the lights and the noise of the restaurants terrace was a bit disturbing.

The location reflects perfectly the Tuscan vibe. Nice personnel, big garden with the big pool, huge apartments.

The bed wasn’t too comfortable and the apartment in general needs an upgrade (kitchen, bathroom, the air conditioning), but on the other hand it’s kind of acceptable, it makes it more authentic.

Very authentic tuscan accommodation. Great location, far from main road but still close to everything. Really liked the building, the surroundings, the pool area, everything is really beautiful and the staff was very helpful and kind.

Beautiful buildings, location and grounds. Great spacious pool and pool area. Rooms are big and the whole place has a rustic charm. Great restaurant for dinner in their cozy courtyard. Never feels crowded. Nice little town nearby with supermarket and a few restaurants.

Only small thing is the bed wasnt the most comfortable with quite hard foam, but I found this with most of the beds in Italy so I think that is just the way they are there. Didn’t affect my sleep.

The accommodation was beautiful ! As soon as we pulled up in the drive way we were blown away. The whole site is gorgeous! We had a top floor apartment and the view of the surrounding area and rolling hills of Tuscany was beautiful. The staff were all exceptionally kind and accommodating. The breakfast was great, I am vegetarian and had a mixture of cheese, scrambled egg, tomatoes, cucumber, bread, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and a whole range of cakes and sweets! You definitely need to a hire a car here. We hired ours from Florence and it was about an hour away from there. We spent the days exploring the area, the local towns and then spent the afternoons relaxing by the pool. There are mosquitoes so definitely bring mosquito repellent. Also highly recommend hiring e-bikes with their partner company which is 2km away, it was 45 euro each for the whole day and then 15 euro for the navigator device and it was such an amazing day ! Would definitely return if we come back to Tuscany.
