Charging by the hotel owned umbrella and sunbeds at the beach. Wifi was not stable in the room.

Pool bar that you could not drink at. We were told no drinks when in pool - yet the next day they served another party-Not impressed. Overall inconsistent and lacked warmth. Additional charges for car parking and for sunbeds at beach. Lots of staff but no guest interaction, meant a lot of our groups spend €€ was off-site. Resident bar closed whenever we came back from dinner.

Deep pool for hot days was great. I didn't use beach ones as an additional charge for some reason. Good breakfast, though powdered eggs for scrambled eggs. Room cleaned and tidied every day.

Both the air conditioning and the fridge stopped working a few times. We asked maintenance to check them out and they immediately tried to sort out the issue but unfortunately it kept on happening. And the same thing happened in another family member's room as well. Travelling with a young child, it was a bit of an inconvenience as we needed the fridge in order to keep his milk.

Miscommunications between Booking.com and Hotel reservation system. We reserved a suite with a view, we got a suite n what I ordered.(bigger) but no view. The food offering at the pool bar closed at 2, why, people were turned away? Also miscommunication between myself and SPA esthetician.

Our room was very large, #601, but it was not what we reserved through Booking.com. We expected a view, we also expected we would be closer to the beach. Breakfasts were abundant. Staff, very nice.

Nice welcome drink. We asked for separate beds in our order, they promissed, but forgot. By our request they gave us rooms with separet beds - unfortunately with terrible beds and bad working heating, Shower was t work at all. Really terrible experience, i didnt sleep all the night through on the old and hard matrace. After we asked in reception for another rooms with normal beds. They were nice and gave new rooms and separate beds,too. This room was two times bigger, nice, beds were comfortable. We spent there only one night but it was different level. Spa is amaizing. all the hotel before seasone is new painting, outside swimming pool is nice and restaurant looks beautifull. Amaizing restaurant not far away, reception made reservation.

The breakfast offers not so much choice and the fee of 15€ for an umbrella, even if you come at 4pm, is very expensive and not customer friendly. Why there isn't an evening ticket?

If we must stay something, you could tell the uniforms the staff ought to wear were a bit out-dated. You felt you were in a middle of a bond movie from the 50’s.

We like the atmosphere and vibe at the hotel. Also, the swimming pool area felt like an oasis, which was very appealing. The fitness room was also nice. Friendly staff.

The stair carpet needed vacuuming - otherwise it was very clean. The two sockets by the bed didn’t work.

The breakfast was dry and every day the same things. Beach beds had to pay for them even tho they were the hotel’s. Towel for pool or beach had to pay for them. To use indoor pool was also not included. Almost every thing you would think will be included in the price, is not. You have to pay for almost every little thing.

My recent stay at the Sant Alphio Garden Hotel & SPA was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Not only did they offer a warm and welcoming greeting, but they also provided us with useful information about the hotel and the surrounding area. Joseph at the reception even helped us take care of a parking ticket issue that we encountered during our stay. They were accommodating and efficient throughout our stay. Aside from the excellent service from the reception staff, the hotel was beautiful and peaceful with great views of the nearby Mount Etna and surrounding countryside. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. Overall, I highly recommend the Sant Alphio Garden Hotel & SPA to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location with top-notch service. The reception staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, and we cannot wait to return in the future.

There was very little I didn't like. However, purely as an observation, insulation between the bedrooms was very poor and it was possible to hear conversation in the next room. Also I felt there should be an information book in the room giving details of services provided. For example, we were not aware that food was available at the poolside bar until the day before we checked out.
