Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe communal nature made it a bit tricky to coordinate sharing a home environment with others. However, we knew this going into it so it didn’t impact us at all.
The interior design and styling was beautiful, it gave it an authentic feeling and made you feel like you were staying in a home as opposed to a hotel. The location was amazing and we were right in the heart of everything.

SwedenDon’t feel very safe as a solo female traveler because the door is old and easy to break in I think. You can easily see the room through the door lock keyhole from outside.
Good location but difficult to get into the room. Self service check in.

AustraliaUnnecessarily complicated check in process caused a lot of anxiety. Two separate codes were sent by WhatsApp on arrival at 7.30pm. We got into the building and into the apartment, But had to go searching back thru emails to find the key safe code to access our room. Also did not like having to enter my credit card details ( to pay city tax) and a photo of my passport and another photo of me actually holding my passport to some random processing system. For each guest. Felt like a creepy breach of our privacy. Also did not realise this was a flat share set up with a communal kitchen (no cooking). We wanted to used the living space for a pre dinner drink but 3 other women were using the only table/seating doing a work meeting with their laptops. Our room was small and looked into an internal light well. The bedroom door had a glass panel and the morning light woke us. Also did not like that somebody entered our room to replace the rubbish bin liner the morning following our arrival. Creepy.
Location is excellent

NetherlandsOnly downside could be the bed, it was a bit hard.
We did not have breakfast as we had an early flight. I enjoyed very much the location and the design of the hotel. It was clean, and tidy.

United KingdomVery nice apartment in the town centre close to bars and restaurants, bus stops, rail station and all of the attractions. The Jungle room we stayed in was decent size for a couple, lovely vintage look, clean and tidy but need to mention it was a bit dark as it's from the other side of the property. Easy access and good communication with the owner. Recommended

AustraliaThere is a shared kitchen BUT BEWARE - you cannot cook! This was not clear when we booked. You are able to prepare cold food only, but there is no microwave and the stove is not functional. This was disappointing as I travelled with small kids and selected this accommodation based on the availability of a shared kitchen (as opposed to a food preparation area only).
The room we stayed in was very large and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. The location is fabulous, very central and the hosts were easy to communicate with :-)

United KingdomI thought the pictures were misleading. This property has 3 bedrooms. We had a room where the majority of photos are NOT focused on. I thought we were going to get a view over the square but only one of the bedrooms has this. We were disappointed when we arrived and had one of the back rooms which did not have a view over the square.
The property is in a great central location. Everything very clean and we used the shared kitchen for our breakfast. The host was very helpful in helping us arrange a taxi for going to the airport.

PortugalThe location is very good, although a bit noisy at night, because of the restaurants on the street. But it didn't stop us from sleeping. The host is very nice. The apartment is amazing, the suite was beautiful, super clean, super comfortable. Would definitely come again.

ItalyThe check in process was a little confusing at first requiring the province of where the passport was issued and not the city. !?I had to research to find the abbreviation. Repeat messages made it seem like my check in hadn’t work. But a small detail

BrazilThe instructions to get into the property were a little complicated, but the host got in touch with us before we arrived to check we had read the instructions. It still took a while for us to get in but once we had worked it out it wasn't a problem. The entry relied on us having an internet connection however, coming from outside the EU we didn't have roaming internet so initially struggled until we got into the building and could access the apartment's wifi that had already been supplied to us.
The location is perfect, short walk from the train station and surrounded by restaurants and bars. However, inside the room it was quiet and peaceful. A great location to explore Cagliari. The room was well decorated and the shower was excellent!

GermanyGuest onboarding process was very messy. Too many long-text instructions and messages to attempt to automatize everything. It could definitely be presented in a more concise and digestible manner for guests. We managed eventually.
Great location, just in the hearth of Cagliari. Perfect for whoever wants to experience shopping and nightlife.

AustraliaThe fact that this property is a "shared" accommodation was not highlighted in any advertisement/details of the listing. There are several rooms that are let, with shared kitchen and dining living room. the other issue was that there is no cooking allowed. That was not listed on the Booking .com reference either. Both ourselves and the other couple that were there were very surprised that there were other guests and that cooking was not allowed. the Description should be updated asap to be accurate.
Very lovely setting, close to the action. The suite we rented (two queen beds, plus ensuite) was very roomy and the airconditioning worked well.

IrelandThe check-in was quite exhausting. I was required by Vikey to get my children to hold up their passports and take a mugshot. It was a bit excessive and inappropriate. Hotels would only require a copy of the passport, so I felt uneasy about it. I did not meet the landlady and only knew her by first name. It was a bit suspicious but maybe she was worried about who stays there. She was very informative and made sure we got in ok.
The room was very nice, spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable

The most central place in Cagliari. Despite staying in the main square we didn't have problem with the noisy. Very good restaurants near the apartment. Large room with 2 double beds. We didn't cook. They recommend us a place to park the car near the apartment.
