How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewPerfect location, room looks even better than on the pictures, bed is very comfortable, you have 2 types of pillow so you can choose your preferred one. Very nice terrace, beach beds, beach towels and sun umbrella was a very nice surprise. Room is modern, minimalist but there is everything you need. Cleaning every 2 days is exceptional. Very good and fast contact with a host. Free parking. Perfect stay.
It would be great if the air conditioning is not resetting after opening door or balcony but it only matters if you would like to have it switched off and it’s a minor

Just a minor comment . The property was clean on arrival but there was no cleaning during our 3 night stay. It was not a problem , but fresh towels would have been appreciated if that was an option.

Verified reviewWe had a lovely stay at Sardvs. The hosts were welcoming and available for any questions - so very thoughtful they left us a welcome bottle of wine and even checked back in that we had everything we needed. The rooms were beautifully renovated with wonderful bathrooms -which are very hard to find. The hosts had really thought through all the details - from lovely lighting, large tv, refrigerators and coffee in the room to beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. We loved the large balcony areas - with 3 of our rooms - they were perfect for lounging outside and playing cards.

Verified reviewThis is a small hotel consists of 5 rooms, it has a large common hall which provides comfortable usage. Looks similar to reception hall in a standard hotel. The accommodation is very well digitalised and prepared for an easy stay and comfort check-in/out. All room pictures are correct, it is even better in real life. Very good sound isolation. Professional cleaning, well organised, and they never bothered us when we stayed in the room. Room size is perfect, and balcony is really useful and large. Perfect walk-in shower, high water pressure. Air-con in night mode periodically turned off and on generating some light noise, may be hearable by sensitive to technical sounds people. But this only if you are sensitive, it definitely working as it designed to be, so if you never heard them before - this will be the same good. Communication with the owner is easy, all the questions solved in minutes, we had some water supply system issue, and he managed plumber in the evening after 18:00 to arrive in 25 mins. That's impressively fast solution not only in Italian reality. Stayed in the Ponente room, that's make sense as all the rooms have different views/size. Regarding parking: because there is small parking space belongs to the hotel, you'll have to park your car one after another, so you'll have to negotiate with your neighbours about leaving, not a problem just good to know. And driving out maybe stressful if you are not an experienced driver. Parking on the streets around is almost impossible, all the spots are always occupied. Parking penalties come very fast.

Well..thanks you for the very detailed review! it is amazing! we know the free indoor parking is a bit small, only good for small cars but we are planning to expand it for next year, we have now got 2 free extra big cars bays at 20 mt from the b&b and we will continue to have them for next year too. unfortunately every now and then, problems happen but we have a quick response team that are able to fix any issue within the hour as it happened for your water supply! as for the air con, we've now reduced the light from the display so during the night it stay off and the noise from the actual unit is one of the quietest as we have a Daikin unit but as you said, it might other very sensitive people. We know the car park is not suitable for big cars and we will expand it next year, but it is still an indoor car park and free 😎 You gave us 7.5 on value for money and we were a bit surprised .. We think the price you paid for 4 guests for 2 nights with private pool, spacious room with all the mod con, free beach towels, chairs and umbrella, free car park ( the hotel Next to us charges €10 daily for its guests.. early check in and late check out and literally on the beach, was very good, Would you kindly reconsider it?
