The day after your departure, I personally visited your room and found that the wall outlet was working perfectly, but that, perhaps due to its location, you may have had difficulty plugging in the kettle. To avoid this kind of problem in the future, I've instructed the housekeeping staff to always leave kettles plugged in. Regarding the bathroom window, behind the curtain, there's a nice, large window that looks directly outside. I'm sorry you didn't see it (I can send you some photos privately if you'd like). The step into the bathroom was a necessary technical solution during the renovation, as the technicians needed a certain slope between the bathroom and the building's drainpipe. Sono lieto che la sua camera sia stata di suo gradimento ma, nel contempo, leggo la sua affermazione circa l'orologio della sua ragazza. Ritengo che questa frase sia inappropriata e ingiustamente diffamatoria nei nostri confronti. Siamo una struttura di ricezione turistica che, come ha potuto constatare con i suoi occhi, fa dell'eccellenza e della cura delle camere in ogni dettaglio il proprio motto. Il personale dipendente, sia quello che gestisce le prenotazioni che quello che si occupa della pulizia delle stanze è di altissimo profilo e di provata fiducia. Sappia che molte volte il personale di pulizia ha rinvenuto oggetti preziosi in oro nelle camere e lo ha sempre puntualmente consegnato in reception per essere restituito ai legittimi proprietari. Nel suo caso, a seguito della sua telefonata, mi sono immediatamente attivato interessando la segreteria e chiamando personalmente la donna che aveva riordinato la sua stanza ma, del suo orologio, non vi era traccia. Ritengo di aver fatto tutti i controlli necessari per poterle garantire che il suo orologio nella stanza non c’era. Mi auguro essermi chiarito con lei e spero che possa fidarsi della serietà ed onestà del nostro personale che tanto si impegna per garantire sempre il massimo ai nostri ospiti.

Our property is located in the heart of the historic center of Udine in a 17th century building where, unfortunately, due to space reasons it is not possible to install an elevator. Buongiorno Lucia, sono davvero molto felice di spere che si è trovata bene nella sua camera. Per quanto riguarda la dimensione della stanza, qo visto che ha optato per la camera "Classic" che, pur mantenendo l'alto standard qualitativo, è pensata per brevi soggiorni. Se tornerà a Udine le consiglio di provare la nostra stupenda camera "Superior" che è, di fatto, un mini appartamento provvisto di ampi spazi, cucina, divano e una vista impareggiabile sulla città. Spero di rivederla presto

Good morning Giuseppe, I have carefully read your review and I am truly sorry that your stay was not optimal due to the noise of some guests. I must tell you that, as you can see from the other reviews we have received over time, the complaints about the noise in our rooms are almost zero because, although for structural reasons, we had to opt for walls that are made of lightweight material (the floors are made of wood and cannot support the weight of masonry walls) which has a high soundproofing index to which, in the cavity, other sound-absorbing material has been inserted. The doors are soundproofed and produced specifically for hotel facilities and, during the renovation phase, the floors and ceilings were also soundproofed with sound-absorbing panels. All this to tell you that, in our opinion, everything that was possible to do to guarantee a high level of comfort for our guests has been done. It is clear that if outside of the "silence" hours some guests and their children make noise above certain levels, not even all the technical measures to reduce the noise will have a limited effect. Reiterating that I am sorry for what happened, I hope I have made you understand that, on our part, we have always done everything possible to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay.
