The hotel is in a very good location for exploring the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant.

The room was dingy and dismal … quite different from what we had expected from the Booking.com photos There is no outside garden or courtyard Guests are invited to use the coffee and tea making facilities in the breakfast room. Despite there being a fridge, there was no milk for tea. In the morning we politely asked the lady who was arranging breakfast for some cold milk. We were told very rudely that we would have to wait until breakfast was served 45 minutes later. We went out and bought our own coffee. This was the most unfriendly response we experienced in many weeks of travelling in Italy. She had a real attitude and should not be working in hospitality. The breakfast itself borne little resemblance to the lovely photos … no fruit at all and nothing healthy.

Very convenient location right in the center of Montalcino. What goes along with that, though, is complicated parking if you have a car. Once we found the big parking lot, it was a lot less stressful for leaving the car. It did require a bit of a walk to get into the town from there, but we anticipated that just knowing Montalcino. It was a little tricky to find the B&B with the car for initial unloading and there are stairs (again, we expected that though) in all directions including the entry to the B&B. Overall, a wonderful stay in a very convenient location.

Fantastic view of the sunrise from my bed in the morning. Location was great, in the pedestrian zone, but parking was only a 5 minute walk away. Great breakfast.

Easy self check-in. Very charming room in the very heart of Montalcino, with a fabulous view. Very good breakfast. Exceptional host, she shared many useful tips and provided recommendations, and gave us the possibility to leave our luggage for the checkout day.

Darling hotel with comfortable beds in a great location. The views were stunning from our rooms! And the breakfast was superb! Delicious freshly baked pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit, juat a marvelous spread serves by a cheerful and friendly hostess

The room was furnished with great attention to detail. The location is very central and the view over Tuscany is stunning. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the quality of the food was very high. You can get a parking card for the public car park from your accommodation. (4 euros for 24 hours)

Shortly before my arrival, I received instructions on how to check in and was asked to provide my personal information. The information was very extensive and confusing for me. The instructions for parking were also not clear to me at first. (The accommodation is in the centre, i.e. in the ZTL area) I should have printed out a document to drive to the accommodation. Logically, this was no longer possible for me as we were already on the road. But when you arrive in Montalciono, everything is less complicated than it seems at first.

the location is wonderful and the rooms are really nice and cozy and the beds are extremely comfortable. I'm sorry we were unable to stay longer. the breakfast was great and the staff extremely helpful and you can get a nice discount for parking as well

keep in mind that access by car close to the location is not possible and there's no elevator if you have heavy luggage

Very comfortable, nicely appointed rooms - small but totally adequate, lovely view, terrific breakfast arrangements, and excellent location - although lots of vertical stairs to get there.

Steep stairs and maybe more specific details re how to find it. It's just a bit obscure - although right there.
