Lovely hosts, perfect location, the room is a fair size but it is modern and neat with a nice balcony to soak up the vibes before heading out. We parked our car at the Sant'Antonio which was only a 10 -15 min walk and super straightforward with EasyPark app. After spending time in Palermo we were expecting Ortigia to be congested but its actually a lot more chilled and easy to get everywhere on foot. Ortigia is beautiful and we think this is the PERFECT place to stay a few days there.

Located perfectly on Via Roma, Sciala Ortigia B&B was the perfect place to base myself for my stay. My balcony looked out over this main thoroughfare and I loved listening to the sounds of the city as the sun set every night. Every site was less than a 10 minute walk, with transportation from the train station so easy via the Loop Bus. Stefania was a perfect host, assisting me to check in, with food and activity recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay on Ortigia.

Most wonderful hosts that really know what hospitality is all about! Attention to details, cleanliness, perfect location etc. etc could not have been better choice for Syracuse visit. Enjoying the free Marsala on the balcony after dinner just put the dot on I.

There was no sound proofing, so when the bin collections happen at 1 am it is very loud, and we could easily hear other guests. It didn't matter to us, but some people might struggle with the 2 flights of stairs up to it.

It's was beautiful, clean, and right in the heart of oritigia. Very central to everything. And the bed was so comfy. Stefania and Roberto were excellent hosts. Great communication before and during our stay. Very knowledgeable about the area, and gave us a great list of their recommendations for places to eat. They also arranged a taxi back to the airport for us.

The room was beautiful, very high-end decorated and very spacious with a small balcony. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Offering drinks on arrive, tea/coffee station with treats, which is a lovely touch. We got an early check in as our Trian arrived early and they were happy to accommodate us. Breakfast was coffee, pastry and juice in the café across from the fountain around the corner which is a great spot for an evening drink also.

This room was perfect, it was very clean, modern room, with modern bathroom and air conditioning and a veranda looking over the main Street in the center of Ortigia. Rooms cleaned daily and the hosts were friendly. Breakfast deal with the cafe around the corner on a great square is a big advantage, breakfast at this cafe each day was a highlight of our trip. This room has everything you need, is very comfortable and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

It is up some very steep stairs so if you have big luggage you may want to rethink. No elevator.

It’s is well located in the center of town close to shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were great. The hosts were very accommodating and lovely. Breakfast was at a cafe around the corner and was good. A lovely stay.

Such a lovely and comfortable stay in the heart of Ortigia. Stefania and her partner are wonderful hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well, the shower was excellent - everything we needed as a nice respite from the busyness of Syracuse. The breakfast at the neighbouring cafe was also very generous!

This place is right in the center of Ortigia, within walking (2-10 mins) distance of everything. Restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Nearby to a small shopping high street and pharmacies, tabacco shops etc. We had a balcony overlooking a beautiful side street of one of the main squares. Double glazed windows kept the noise out, but we left them open to hear the songs of the street. This was our favorite place we stayed in Sicily.

This is beautifully appointed apartment in the heart of Ortigia. Great Air conditioning, Comfortable bed, great shower good space and a separate area for tea, coffee or a glass of wine. There are 2 flights or stairs but we managed them easily

Our hosts were incredibly kind, and the accommodation was literally in the heart of Ortigia. Just stepping out of the apartment, we were only a few minutes away from all the major sights. We received amazing restaurant recommendations from our hosts, which we followed and were never disappointed. The room was well-equipped, always clean, and we loved the stylish decor. Everything was perfect.

We literally loved this apartment! The host lady was extremely nice, kind and helpful. The apartment was perfectly clean and its location was amazing - in the middle of the beautiful Ortigia Island. I would definitely recommend this apartment! Price/value is also 10/10
