Hotel is dated, breakfast was ok basic but done the job. Overall pretty clean but table cloths on tables for breakfast weren’t changed after being used so you could end up at table with dirty stains and crumbs etc from people before you.

The hotel is in need of some modernisation and investment. With a little love this would be an absolute gem. The bar only had one option of Red wine which wasn't very good. The outside seating was quite uncomfortable.

The venue location is great with amaxzing views across the bay of Naples and of Versuvious. The glass fronted Elevator is a real bonus. The staffweere helpful and polite at all times.

They really could do with a bit of an update, although everything was clean which is the main thing.

Great location with a fantastic view. The hotel itself is a little outdated (it hadn't changed much from when I was there 20 years ago!) but the staff are very friendly, the pool is lovely, the room has AC and the location can't be beaten. An easy walk into Sorrento, but without the noise. And the onsite car park is essential of course (if you have a car).

The rooms were very spartan. Tiny bars of soap and small packets of shower gel. Interesting towels as well.

The room, in all honesty, was not great; the beds were shocking and hadn't been replaced for several years. The room was really tired and quite dirty, in need of a lot of love. If it wasn't for the view or the facilities, this rating would be a lot lower. In the range of 5. I would say the hotel should look to renovate some of the rooms at some point, but I suppose it's a business case for them, do they do that and lose their cheap advantage when people will stay there for the pool and the location? I mean, it does need it. For a 3-night stay like mine, it was ok, but I could easily have stayed a week there if improvements were made. However, despite these comments, the room was functional, and I loved my stay because of the atmosphere, listening to the waves at night.

You are essentially booking this place for the view, which was absolutely magnificent, and because of this, I have rated this Hotel a lot higher than it would be otherwise. I was also exceeded in my expectations when I found the pool to be open. When I booked, I specifically asked if the pool would be open, and they told me no. I turned up and it was which was partially why I booked this hotel. I see some comments about the breakfast, personally, I enjoyed it as not one for major breakfast extravaganzas. (especially as a seagull stole my croissant while sitting on the outside breakfast terrace). The WiFi was also excellent which can often be a problem on trips despite being such a basic ask these days.

No kettle in room for tea/ coffee. There was a fridge!! Chilled drinks 👍🏻 Towels thin cotton! No pool towels. Breakfast ok except for the powdered orange juice, and the automatic coffee machine. But - just ask and you can have a really good proper coffee.

Only thing to improve would be the matress, it was very firm. It's also a bit of a walk from the centre of town but worth it for the views.

The views from the room were stunning, looking out across the ocean and Sorrento. Staff were friendly and gave good advice on how to get around and sights to see.

The hotel is an old family hotel and some things are a bit outdated, like the rooms interior. The beds I found not very comfortable (the feel old) and the room was not very clean. Like there were a lot of stains on the white wall. The chairs on the balcony really needed a wipe. And I accidentally looked under the bed and there was dust from months. The breakfast is ok. Italian style. I would have loved a bit more fresh fruits and a better coffee. The price per night is reasonable considering that it is in Sorrento. But anywhere else in Italy I would say: the value for money could be better, especially with the outdated level of comfort. But would I stay again? Probably yes, because of the price.

The hotel has an amazing location and the view is just Wow! Expect to walk for 30 mins or take a bus or taxi from the port or station when you arrive. The hotel has a pool with amazing view and that is great. Also the staff, all super friendly and ver hospitable. The hotel let me stay a big part of the day after I checked out. Super nice. All in all I had quite a good stay in Settimo Cielo.

The closing times on the pool area, was like 6am til 1900 or something, which was strange. the breakfast wasn't great either not a lot to choose from at all. but these things were not a big deal for us as we preferred to eat out anyway.

The whole point of this room at this hotel was purely for the amazing view, and it was worth it. The room itself was ok, it was clean, however, the Aircon did not work. other then that everything else was ok.

Bit dissapointed with the food /drinks, set up.. It says in the room that there is lunch served but there is not. The hotel needs something like this.. Or at least put a mini fridge in each room for self catering

Breakfast was fine, apart from the orange juice, which was a concentrate that you mix with water.. Awful stuff
