Excellent hospitality and client service. Beautiful view!, Great location,, room, restaurant and facilities. I enjoyed my stay which was extended to join the Gate 1 group. Special thanks to the team at reception and restaurant manager.

I was very impressed with cleanliness of this hotel. Everywhere: the hallways, rooms, washrooms, dining room... it was spotless and stafff was always cleaning, and vacuming and payed such attention to detail thoroughly cleaning all areas. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful especially Meta at the Baveno Simplon location was wonderful, so curteous, helpful and always attentive and smiling! Your swimming pool is excellent. very clean, well mantained, never overcrowded, towels were always available for guests even on cloudy, rainy days. And no young kids running around, screaming and splashing! I loved that!

I find daily breakfast fee at 25 Euros was too expensive, so we chose not to eat breakfast at your hotel.

The outdoor area and pool are lovely, and the ‘tunnel’ to the Grand hotel is amazing! Handy to the supermarket and not far from the lake.

The toilet and hand basin are too close together and the toilet is awkward to access

Luxurious hotel where every small detail is in the right place. I really enjoyed absolutely everything and already want to come back.

Garden and pool area are beautiful and well kept.

We paid 75 euros for breakfast for three people and it was the worst one we have ever had in a four star hotel. We went there at 9.00 and almost everything was finished. The staff was able to refill few food items but they didn’t have any pastries and only one kind of bread left one hour before the end of the breakfast time! We complained directly to the reception and they promised to find out why they didn’t have enough food but after that we heard nothing and there was no compensation. This was our second time at this hotel but definitely the last one as the value for money equation does not work.

I like that i feel welcomed in this hotel - the Manager and the lady at the reception (name Francesca i guess) as well as housekeeping are so friendly. The manager recognised me as i stayed in the hotel before and gave me the feeling of a special guest although i stayed only for 1 night. She appointed us a very nice room (actually a wow-effect room) with the terrace and lake view! They do the best they can for customers. In total i recommend the hotel for its beauty, service, facilities,location and amazing view over the lake! Thank you very much for making our stay unforgettable!

Pool area was lovely. Access to Hotel Dina indoor pool was a bonus. Gorgeous fit out throughout with lots of marble. Very well maintained. Short walk to centre of Baveno with many cafes and restaurants.

There is no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. Parking was 25 euros which seemed expensive as it was in the hotel outside car park.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Whilst I appreciate on site parking, I think the fee of 20 Euros per 24 hours as a hotel guest is a little overpriced.

Outdated. No option for double beds (even if you choose such a room). They are always separate beds. No elevator to our room - very annoying. Surprised with a compulsory service fee (not the VAT nor the city tax). The hotel claims this was written everywhere - although she had nothing to say when I showed her there was absolutely no mention of this anywhere. Booking.com should be informed of this practice.

Friendly staff, nice bedding, great pool area.

Pool water was v cold! Breakfast was ok but not the best, bathroom was small and tired. Bar was very quiet. I wasn't impressed that a 5% service charge was added to the room bill. Please do not follow a US model, none of us like the over tipping culture.

Everything it was very beautiful very clean and very amazing. The location was second to none.

The hotel and grounds are exceptionally beautiful. The outdoor pool and gardens are a real treasure. The staff were very helpful and friendly with the children. The town of Baveno is adorable. The views of the lake and Alpine foothills are peaceful and uplifting. The weather was prima.
