The accommodation is in a traditional setting in amongst the central neighbourhood. It makes you feel like you’re a local living amongst the locals in the centre of Carloforte. The location is excellent. You are next to all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing!

We were met by Michaela, who had been super responsive on what’s app prior to our arrival. The room was lovely with lots of really nice touches including coffee and toiletries. I’d made an error when booking rooms and Michaela was able to resolve it straight away. The cooker is fed by gas bottle typical on the island and had run out, I notified them and it was replaced the next day. Not too much of an issue as there is an electric kettle in each room and a coffee machine in the shared kitchen. There is a small fridge in each room as well as a fridge in the communal kitchen. It’s in a great location with lots of places to eat close by. The en-suites are really well done, the shower is unexpectedly powerful and the hot water provides sufficient hot water. As we stayed at the end of March, it’s still a little chilly in the evenings and early morning but each room has its own AC which provided heat.

Unfortunately Thursday night was party night in the street near us (& I mean until 0500) so it was a disturbed night, but not the property's fault.

Everything was tops. Michaela was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

stairs - like everywhere in Italy - not fun with lots of luggage

The location is fabulous…steps from everything. The rooms were big and bright and very well equipped… little Juliette balcony so you could really let the breeze in though they were also air conditioned for the July heat. The kitchen is great, no oven. The microwave is convection, and we had everything we needed to be able to cook for our children. There’s a lovely dining room also to sit and eat or play games or just have tea together. The management team are always available, with a smile, we’ve at midnight when we locked ourselves out. Oops… they were fantastic. The house is spotlessly clean, and is cleaned every day but your individual room is cleaned and towels changed twice per week The guesthouse was full the whole time we stayed, most guests only staying one night, but it never felt like anyone else was there.

Better signage on the roads that the municipal government of Caloforte has, lack of information at the bus stop where it comes from where they are going, the schedules, for example: we walked from Carloforte to the other end of the island (Piscina Naturali di Nasca) and we arrived, there is no infrastructure construction to monitor the safety of the tourist, There is no signage, we arrived by intuition and asking. A local on the way back approached us in his car to carloforte, we walked 8 km without signs

Breakfast is not offered but it has a spacious and pleasant kitchen with appliances to prepare breakfast or dinner with useful kitchen elements. The location is perfect because it is within the town of caloforte and has nearby supermarkets shops restaurants, we arrived by ferry and in 4 minutes leaving the ferry to the via pastorino, very easy to reach.

The vibe, every little touch and detail in the design. Love the two very comfortable sofas inside our suite and the colours. Also the property has been cleaned everyday, you always have fresh towels and sheets. Thank you do much to Laura and her team. So kind and hospitable.

Price for room is on the high side, we were lucky to have friends on a boat, so our stay in the apartment was solely for the night sleep, otherwise for three people it would have been quite small (If we decided to eat, for instance).

Location is super nice - Carloforte is gorgeous. Our Host was very nice to us and we kept contact throughout the check-in procedure and stay.
