The only thing we didn’t like was the road leading to the hotel, but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

We really loved that our room led directly onto the terrace, where breakfast is served in the morning, kindly prepared by the hotel’s owner lovely wife and another very pleasant woman who helps her. And from the terrace, you immediately find yourself by the pool — we didn’t even close the door to our room. We also really liked the owner of the hotel and his son. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. And a special wow goes to the rock right inside the shower cabin — that was truly something unique!

Where do I start! What a beautiful hotel, lovely balcony, spacious and clean. The best bit was the owners, Emilio and Angela, what beautiful people they are. Really helpful, cannot do enough for you and the breakfast was my god! Honestly loved staying here, cannot wait to come back

The owners Angella and her husband are among the best people I have ever met.They are the sweetest and soo warm. They give the best recommendations and ensure you have the best trip. Breakfast is amazing. Angela bakes the best cakes fresh every day, which she serves for breakfast. The place is super well kept, amazing vibe and views. Can't recommend enough.

Everything was perfect but I can imagine the location would be tricky if you didn't have a car.

The whole stay was amazing but the hosts really made it. Such a warm welcome, went above and beyond for you and the breakfast was just brilliant. The accommodation itself was lovely and the pool and jacuzzi were a great addition. There was also free nearby parking.

We really had a fantastic stay at Solaria. The room was really fully equipped. We had a big bed, nice balcony and the bathroom with a double jacuzzi completes it. It is a quiet B&B with a fantastic view. Breakfast is fully equipped and really delicious. The owners go out of their way to provide you with information, help book taxis and excursions and really do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend staying here to anyone. If we go to the Amalfi coast again we will be very happy to come back to Solaria.

Everything was perfect

Kind hospitality that makes you feel among family, we are grateful to the owners who made the stay an unforgettable experience. The place is clean, comfy and peaceful with amazing view to the sea, it has an outstanding homemade breakfast for a perfect start of the day. There is a nearby bus station and private parking for your car or scooter. Highly recommended place for a relaxing and refreshing getaway.

Amazing people in charge! Also they care a lot about the people that they host and the prepare THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER! I would recomend it to everybody. The place was super prity with amazing views!

-the road to and from the property is narrow (all over amalfi coast) and the drivers are not driving safely.

The distance from the main town of Amalfi. The buses only run at certain times throughout the day and they do not run on Sundays. Getting to the town without a car is very expensive. Estimate about 50-80 euros a way by private taxi.

Angela is the heart of Solaria - the most caring host we’ve ever had. The rooms are beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. We had a desk, large wardrobe and couch in our room which made it feel more homey.

The property was amazing but the best thing about our stay were the host. Throughout Europe I’ve never met nice people. They take care of you like you are their family. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again when I go back to Italy.

This is the perfect place for the romantic vacation. Close to all top places (about 6 km up to the mountain from the centre of Amalfi) but the car is necessary because no bus stop nearly. Angela and Emilio the best hosts ever! The room with balcony and epic sea view. Breakfast was wonderful, cooked by Angela from the fresh products each morning. Solaria is always in our souls from now. If you want to be in the Eden without crowds of tourists but with the opportunity to arrive to all Amalfi coast whithin 15 minutes it is the best choice.

Me and my sister stayed at Solaria for 3 nights and truly loved our stay! The room was fresh, big and clean with a mini fridge of cold drinks inside and the view was stunning of the sea. The breakfast was amazing in the mornings, and the hosts kindness and friendliness really made our trip there so good! We were greeted with cake and drinks when we arrived and given recommendations on how best to get around by the owners, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Solaria is an oasis in the heart of the busy Amalfi Coast. It's at about 15-20 minutes drive up the hill from Amalfi and the view from the room or terrace during breakfast is simply unbeatable. The entire coast from Amalfi to Positano is extremely crowded especially in peak season. So  staying away from the buzz and enjoying the tranquility, the stunning views and the hospitality of Angela and Emilio was definitely the right choice. There's a punctual public bus departing from Tovere (5min walking distance) that was super convenient to take us to Amalfi. The same bus also stops in Conca dei Marini which is 25 min walking distance from Fiordo di Furore. Parking in Amalfi/Positano is impossible and if you do manage it's insanely expensive so using public bus/boat required a little more planning but also felt the right thing to do.

The internet worked very very slow for us which made it a bit difficult to further plan our trip, at the same time it does give you a peaceful feeling to stay off the phone for a bit. Also, the rooms are not so sound proof so you can hear people talking in the room next to you.

The hosts are amazing, really wonderful and kind people. Made us feel welcome and have good recommendations on food and places to visit. They even provide a free shuttle bus to the center and restaurant. The location is beautiful, it’s around 20 minutes by car to Amalfi, this make the places a lot more calm away from the busyness of the town. Also there is free parking in a good spacious place.

The bed is extremely old it felt like a box spring.. my wife and I couldn’t sleep well during our stay. The hot water in our room didn’t work so we couldn’t even take a shower. One night we even lost power in our room.The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the room either which made things even more uncomfortable because the hotel is secluded and we had to rely on the manager for advice to get anywhere. Beware that it is extremely difficult to get around from this hotel as it is secluded and the manager makes it even harder. He has some sort of problem with the taxi drivers in Amalfi so he tried to force us to use the bus… The bus is a couple hundred stairs down from the hotel and doesn’t show up on time.. it was raining so we got soaked. We told the manager we wanted a taxi for this reason but he refused to listen. He did the same thing for our way back to the hotel from Amalfi and it resulted in us getting stranded because the bus stop on the way back is nowhere near the hotel. We had to walk down at least 1000 steps (not an exaggeration) In the pitch black of night in the rain get to a restaurant and then take a restaurant shuttle back to the hotel.. this took hours. On top of all this the hot tub is gross and the manager charges $15 euros to use the sauna for 30 minutes.. I’d rather just wait to get back home and use my gym sauna. Overall staying at this hotel really did ruin our time on the Amalfi coast- the reviews are extremely deceiving. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere closer to Amalfi or positano at a place that has more professionalism. This hotel has less resources than an Airbnb.
