Stunning location and facility. Great communication and hosting from the host. We were very pleased and the breakfast was also another added bonus!

We liked everything about the property. It is a gem in Maratea. Alina and Ermanno could not have been more helpful if they tried. What more can I say…we didn’t want to leave it was exceptional.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. The room, common area and balcony were meticulously clean and impressively beautiful. The air conditioner worked perfect, which was a relief given how hot and humid it was. The breakfast was an extra bonus. Parking was easier than most of the places we stayed on this trip, although it does require driving up a narrow, winding road...but most places in Italy worth going to, usually do, right? The location was very close to everything in town. The town is charming, and the surrounding area spectacular. The was the nicest place we have stayed at, and would give it a 12 if we could.

It was all good

It was easily our best accommodation in our trip. It is a beautifully situated location with a clean and spacious room with superb views from a private terrace over the town and to the surrounding mountains. The hosts have private parking spaces, which is a plus given the limited parking spaces in the town. It is only a two minute walk (downhill) to the shops and restaurants in town. Our host was helpful and friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer! Note that when you arrive you will meet the host at the parking lot on Via Roma. You will need to walk a up and down a few staircases to reach the accomodation, so the property would not be ideal for someone with mobility restrictions.

Great view from the balcony of the town and valley. Screens on the windows was nice. Narrow curved alleys and walkways. Clean and safe town. Great hosts. Nice breakfast of fresh fruit and breads.

Parking an issue like in many of these small mountain towns. Alena was at the parking lot saving us a space upon arrival. Had to carry the luggage a ways with lots of steps. No fan.

An amazing stay! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning – peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The room was very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Maratea

Everything exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom were huge, thoughtfully designed, and pristinely clean. The view from the terrace is beautiful and peaceful, as is the village. If we were traveling for a longer period we would have stayed an extra night or two. Highly recommend.

This was one of the most beautiful places that we have stayed. The town itself is lovely and the room and facilities were spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable and very quiet due to the absence of significant traffic in town. We had lovely views. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

There was nothing to be improved. There are many stairs but that is the price to be paid for its position and seclusion.

Hot water for shower is not enough

Lovely, quiet, very interesting old city with major historic significance. Beautiful views and walks. Beautiful beach 3 km b car. Gracious hosts who spoke English. Beautiful, old home, beautifully restored and appointed.

Access by many stairs, but well mitigated by hosts.

This is the sweetest little bnb. We loved the location (only a short walk from the town center), the privacy and the spectacular view. We also loved our hostess Aline, who was kind and attentive. She’s responded quickly to our requests and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. This was our second time in Maratea to celebrate our anniversary and Aline baked us a delicious cake and even offered some homemade limoncello! We truly felt like we were returning home. We hope to be able to return here again.

We loved everything about this bnb. It was slow to get warm at first but once the heat kicked in we were very comfortable. We also could have used a microwave in the coffee area but that was no big deal.

Like the band's amplifier in the movie 'This is Spinal Tap', the rating for this accommodation should be "set on 11". It really is a special place. In the center of an ancient and charming Calabrian hill town, spacious, thoughtfully restored and decorated by the lovely young owners and a view from the large private balcony which is the Italy of your dreams. A generous and tasteful Italian (ie not North American) breakfast served in your anteroom. The attached photos are of (a) the apartment's private entrance, and (b) one of the perspectives from the balcony.

The young couple who run Suite La Terrazza are absolutely delightful. Communicating with them via WhatsApp was convenient and they immediately responded. Alina helped carry our luggage from a nearby parking lot through a maze of pathways to their lovely home/B&B. The room was cheerful, clean, nicely decorated and had modern bathroom facilities. A welcome bottle of wine awaited us.

The bed and pillows at Suite La Terrazza are hard and uncomfortable and did not suit our needs. There was a problem with the radiators due to the high winds and rain that evening and they only worked a couple of hours thus making sleeping warm and comfortably nearly impossible. Our conversation with our hosts the following morning about these issues was amiable. We do not want to discourage others from staying at Suite La Terrazza because we feel they will want to address these issues to be able to welcome other guests.
