kind of a long walk from the piazza but it isn't the place fault. so if you don't like to walk this isn't the place for you but the view is worth it

breakfast was amazing , they took care of all the needs and specially for my wife who's vegan. friendly and helpful staff. clean and spacious. great view and wonderful facilities

The 20 minute walk by foot to reach the villa was really difficult though with a knee injury, it would have been important to know up front. Otherwise it is a lovely walk through the typical narrow paths. Luggage transport from Capri center was included for check in, but not for check-out. It would make sense to include both ways and/or being transparent about this extra costs.

We very much liked the Villa Carolina, for it’s beautiful and quiet setting, the tasteful designs, the stunning views. Remotely nestled in the hills of wonderful Capri Island. We were well taken care of by the House Host. And enjoying the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and Vesuvius was a lovely start into our sightseeing days on the wonderful Capri island. We had a great and relaxing stay.

it takes a little while to get there (on foot) and if it’s really hot, you get a bit sweaty walking there. important to use the baggage service or you will arrive a hot mess. I guess the gym is also not really great, but all I needed was a pair of barbells to do my workout anyway, and the gym had them.

great old turn of the century villa - a nice blend of classic and modern. location was spectacular, we looked out over the bay to Vesuvius from our private terrace.

ust wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at Villa Carolina for a wonderful stay. My friend and I visited this week and from the moment we booked right until check out we were looked after by the team. The villa is beautiful, set back from the main centre which gives a nice break from the hustle and bustle. The walk from the Piazetta is a bit of a workout up hill but worth it for the views! Breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn’t do more for you. The bedrooms have a rustic feel and are very clean. The option to sit out in the gardens, swim in the pool and enjoy the sun was a huge perk. Overall a lovely stay and that was thanks to the staff. So thank you very much. We will be back. And would recommend the villa to anyone who wants a great location with a beautiful view and service.

Beautiful property! Well-managed and clean. Wonderful view. A cosy and warm feeling. Nice breakfast. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere. They have a service which delivers your luggage from Capri town to the villa so you don’t have to carry them all the way there.

This is truly a paradise in earth, such a hidden gem!!! Beautiful view of the lush island, lovely gardens and a pool view, the hostess is just amazing! Breakfast was just wonderful and we wish we could have stayed longer! Also, don’t be afraid of the location - it is just the added benefit, takes you away from the pretentious part of the island, deep into the authentic streets where the local live. Also, a supermarket and some really good restaurants nearby. We highly recommend Lo Sfizio - their inner yard is just wonderful! Also, don’t miss out on some excellent hiking trails up the mountain!

Its a pretty tough hike up to the villa so make use of the luggage service. The first time is the worst! Very little/no english spoken at the villa but communicated with someone via whatsapp who sorted/answered my questions.

The pool facilities were lovely & the staff were very kind. They were very accommodating on our last day & allowed is stay by the pool after check-out. Bottled water was available all day. Breakfast was good, cereals, breads, cakes, croissants, fruit, cold meats occasionally, freshly squeezed orange juice & coffees. Room was small but comfy & a/c was a dream.

The breakfast was a great variety of foods. The pool and outdoor area was amazing, and the view is spectacular. You do have to walk from the center of Capri, which is a mile and is mostly up hill, so you need to be aware of that, but to this overweight 68 year old woman, the hike was worth it!

A BEAUTIFUL villa with the most gorgeous views of the sea. It's situated not far from the center (Piazzetta). Breakfast was a whole wonderful spread prepared by Nicolina, the housekeeper. Speaking of Nicolina, she's was the best! So kind, welcoming, and helpful. I'd stay her again just for her.

the room was really humid but it probably was because of the rainy weather we got, I’m sure it’s better when is hot.

we like everything, from the beginning we arrive late at night and Nicolina and Andrea wait for us so kindly. The villa is beautiful, very well look after, the views from the pool and the loving room are to die for. breakfast is delicious, full of fresh fruit from capri, and big selection of sweet and salty. All day you are free to have anything you want, fruit, coffee, tea, cakes. we were very unlike with the weather and it did rain a lot so we spent lot of time in the living room enjoying the views, watching tv and playing games but we still have an amazing time. Nicolina look after us so well, so thank you! The room was lovely and confortable, nice shower. jacuzzi and sauna are great too. we use the luggage service on the way back, amazing not to have to carry the luggage around tiny roads in capri. the villa is 15 min walk to the centre, in a very quiet location. it’s a nice walk to do everyday.

The property could use some more cleaning. Maybe because it was outside high season. Not sure. But bedsheet had blood stains so we not sure if it was changed before we arrived… it never got changed during our stay. In general not very clean also in breakfast area. Like coffee cups…

The views are stunning. Breakfast is also okay. You can also get drinks and snacks during the day.

The room was so small, they didn’t put the pictures of that room in booking. The door was made with glass so it was visible through🤦🏼‍♀️ the sauna was closed and the pool was not usable it was full of insects next to the pool.

The breakfast was the left over sweets of who knows when. The first day that we arrived the sweets were on the table. And they served us the same one the next morning.
