    - first, if you are freediving - it's the y-40 hotel. there's also time for guest to chill at the pool (in certain days), which we liked very much. I had the option to have a diving session while my wife and little boy swimming next to us. - staff is nice everywhere - the pools are nice - they had a movie night at the pool which we found to be original - there's a really nice trees and flowers everywhere, I thing they have a potential to have a walking path in the woods which will make it a great attraction as well. - there's a renting cycling store right outside

    - even though it was mid April and warm 2 weeks, there was no air conditioner option, nor any reasonable solution. - breakfast can be better- especially for vegetarians - it's time to skip the swimming pool hats, which is mandatory. we have been in several hotels in the area, some require it, some don't I't just makes the experience less joyful. - it's a bit far from the restaurants area but you can have a short walk/ride or use the bus station outside the hotel

The AC couldn't be turned on during the first night (a 30 degrees celcius day), the gym is 4 badly maintained machines, the beds are small and uncomfortable. All in all, it was bad value for momey.

    Property response:

Dear Yuval, thank you for sharing your feedback, which gives us the opportunity to clarify a few points. The air conditioning system did experience a temporary malfunction during your stay — an unexpected technical issue that we addressed as quickly as possible. As for the gym, it is designed for basic use, but we are aware that there is room for improvement, and we are already planning to update the equipment. The beds follow a standard chosen to offer practicality and comfort for the majority of our guests, though we understand that individual preferences may vary. Lastly, we would like to emphasize that our daily commitment is to provide a service consistent with our price range and the amenities offered, while always striving to improve. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again for an experience more in line with your expectations. Best regards, Hotel Millepini

The water was warm in the pools.

After a phone call to the hotel to ask what room we should book, we booked the one THEY suggested. Upon arrival they told us us we needed to pay MORE money for each child. We ended up sleeping in 4 on one bed, I paid 200 euro a night. No solutions or alternatives were suggested. The hotel was fine, the pools were good for kids. But there is an air of un warranted superiority about the staff. Like they are trying to cling on to the nobility the hotel used to have by implementing nonsensical policies and being overly rigid for no reason. The hotel is old, most of the area is in decline, the rooms are basic and cold (we had a superior). Feels like a sad place. Best part is they tried to claim I didn't pay to booking, I should be asking booking for a refund.

    Property response:

Dear Mr. Boraso, We are sincerely sorry to read your review, which—allow us to say it clearly—distorts the facts quite significantly. Out of respect for the truth, we feel compelled to clarify a few key points. You booked a superior double room for two people through Booking.com, with payment to be made directly at the property and no advance payment taken. However, upon your arrival, you showed up with four people: two adults and two children (aged 7 and 4 and a half), none of whom were mentioned in the original reservation. Our colleague, with courtesy and professionalism, pointed out that the room you had booked was for two guests only, as confirmed by your own reservation on Booking. You replied that, in your opinion, four people could comfortably sleep in one double bed. Despite this clear discrepancy, we offered you an alternative solution: a triple room, with the younger child sharing the bed with you. You freely chose to stay in the double room, with no pressure from our side and without requesting a change of room type. At check-out, you stated that you had already paid for the stay via Booking. It was explained to you—several times and with complete transparency—that your credit card had only been used to guarantee the booking, as clearly specified by Booking.com. Payment was due at the property and was to cover not only you and your companion, but also the undeclared presence of two children. We would like to emphasize that we are not appealing to any sense of nobility—because, as someone once said, a gentleman is born, not made. We have no need to flaunt anything. Our conduct was correct, patient, and focused on finding a solution, despite your initial demands being, quite frankly, difficult to reconcile with the actual circumstances. As for your comments about the property, opinions are of course personal, but it is worth noting that they were only shared after you were asked to settle your bill. We will stop here, as our style—perhaps a bit old-fashioned—leads us to avoid unnecessary arguments. However, we are committed to defending the professionalism of our staff, the fairness of our actions, and the truth of the matter. Kind regards, The Management Hotel Millepini

Beautiful peaceful location. Loved the spa. Food was great with good healthy selection for breakfast and dinner. Nice room, only downside was we could only get bbc news in English on the tv.

The proximity to the Y40 deep joy centre. The lobby and bar for aperativo was great. Access to the spa facilities was included and very enjoyable.

The overall feel of the hotel was a little dated.

The Y40, too big advantage of this hotel.

The climate of the room. 23 celsius degree is the minimum. Too much. The breakfast is like in a 2 star hostel. The first day is only twi slice off “value” cheese. Mortadella is older than me. This breakfast is not enough for this price. The climate conroll is less than avarage.

The room was spacious and very nice. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, clean, and with plenty of towels and amenities. Breakfast the next morning was very good as well. It was a lovely stay overall and I would recommend it, especially if you're diving at Y-40.

I didn't get a chance to visit the spa, but that's only because I basically just slept at the hotel since I was diving at Y-40 and went out for dinner with my diving companions. The room was also quite warm but I'm sure that's because it's too early in the year for AC, so I just opened the sliding door to the balcony for a while and it was fine.
