Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe rooms lean toward the minimalist—think more “Spartan chic” than plush sanctuary. If you’re dreaming of sinking into a cloud-like sofa or a bed softer than a whispered compliment, you might need to recalibrate expectations. That said, they’re immaculately clean and smartly laid out, with everything you need and nothing you don’t. The balcony and outdoor areas feature plastic chairs that, while perfectly functional, could benefit from a little upgrade. There are more charming options out there that would elevate the ambiance without breaking the bank—or the back. As for the air conditioning, it has a bit of a personality. Not quite intuitive, but with a little patience (and possibly a minor engineering degree), it’ll get the job done.
This resort runs like a well-oiled Vespa—smooth, stylish, and with just the right amount of flair. The staff are a delightful blend of warmth and professionalism; think five-star service with a genuine smile, not the robotic kind that makes you question your life choices. The location strikes a perfect balance: tranquil enough to hear your own thoughts (or the gentle rustle of palm trees), yet just a leisurely stroll from the postcard-pretty center of San Teodoro. If your flip-flops aren’t made for long-distance travel, fear not—the resort’s shuttle service will whisk you to the nearest beach with the efficiency of a Sardinian aunt delivering homemade pasta. And for the adventurous souls without a car, the local bus system is surprisingly cooperative. The pool is almost a serene oasis. The concierge deserves a special shoutout—armed with insider tips and a sixth sense for what kind of beach you’re in the mood for, they’ll help you discover the island’s best-kept secrets. Breakfast is… sufficient. Not a Michelin experience, but it’ll fuel your day without complaint. All in all, a well-managed resort that makes you feel welcome, relaxed, and just a little bit spoiled. Highly recommended for those who appreciate kindness wrapped in competence.

United StatesOur biggest issue was Barbara the concierge, we had a booked our own private boat before arrival, upon asking her best beaches to plan the trip, she basically advised against renting our own boat and taking the hotel boat, due to the zone being restricted to self chartered boats. This was far from the truth, we got duped and took the hotel charter that was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, it was a few hours, with an hour break spent docked at a cafe. This excursion is fine if you're older and want someone to take you around for a few hours, very boring and dull, think again if you will see the exquisite beaches of San Teodoro. Barbara messed with our 5 day itinerary and we really missed out on our boating experience. BEWARE. They sell it as an intimate 12 boat excursion, we had more than 12 people, we didn't even sit together as a family. Management tried to address the issue, but apparently the owners thought best to only offer a later check out, I expected more. As many others stated the property in general is just mid - a little run down, the AC can not be controlled fully, the showers have curtains that needed replacement, WIFI can be iffy, they did have a bus with set times to 1 one local beach. The breakfast had variety but it was the quality, it just didn't hit the spot. From a 4 star property I would expect they would share how to access a few of the beaches that require tickets, before arrival, they mentioned nothing of the sorts in their welcome email. Some of the rooms are very dark and outdated, be careful in your booking.
We were looking forward to a wonderful stay, the property is just outside of town, a 15-20 minute, we had a car so we didn't mind. It was in a decent location to the local beaches.

United KingdomThe room we was given has no privacy, the side window viewed the road and the patio doors opened to a shared/open patio with the room next door, plus another terrace onlooking straight opposite. We therefore had the curtains closed most of the time and the decor was dark so the room felt very drab and dull. Didn't raise the issue as were only staying 2 nights so no big deal to us, wouldn't want to have stayed in that room any longer.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ok a 15-20 minute walk to town. The complementary shuttle bus to La Cinta beach ran there and back 4 times a day and this service was very good.

RomaniaThe hotel is quite old, definitely not refurbished in a long time. O would say it is 2 ⭐ hotel. The sofa bed was the worst we had so far, metal bars all around( not suitable for kids or old people) The front door was moving and banging during windy nights even it was shut. ( made the sleep difficult) The breakfast definitely not worth 15 per person( very small choices of food and bad quality) And the policy of 200€ deposit plus all the extra penalty’s included, not cleaning the room during the stay are the worst we found so far. Definitely not recommend!
Booked this hotel because of the pool. Clean room and good location for the nearby beaches if you have a rental car.

FranceI don’t understand why in a hotel with 4* you don’t have the service of cleaning. We stayed 6 nights and when you chose a hotel, you chose also for the facilities that it offers to you. From the first day it was a lot of ants in the room. Even the towels are not changed for all our stay. If you want to change the towels, you need to pay for it😒. The garbage also you need to throw away and to sort it.
It is very close to the one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. There are a Playground for the kids ❤️ The pool was clean 🩵

IrelandThe pool, it's freezing cold, not alot of guests utilise it thoughtout the day.
Purposely booked a bit of luxury for chillin at the end of our road trip around the rest of the island the previous 5 days. Spent 3 nights here, it's small and quiet and approx. 15min walk from the local town of San Teodoro which is ok, has a few restaurants and bars, nothing hectic, its small, and kind of gets boring after few days. There was a small music festival on when we were there which was good. There are lots of local trader stalls each evening also but again same stuff gets boring after time. The whole point of this part of Sardinia is the beaches and these did not disappoint, they are amazing, the water is so clear and blue. There are 3 beaches close by, 2 of which you need to book 2 days in advance as they have limited spaces available - you do get a discount through the hotel which is good. The 3rd free beach is about 25 min walk or the hotel puts on a free shuttle bus to and from at diff times throughout the day which is great also! The breakfast is good, standard contenintal breakfasts with some hot food for the western taste. The staff are lovely and helpful and the place is really clean and parking us available.

United KingdomThere's not much to say about what we didn't like. In general, we had a very pleasant experience overall.
Most of the staff were absolutely wonderful, all waiting team at breakfast excellent, especially two lovely ladies who appeared to work all hours. They were serving breakfast and working behind the pool bar, then serving food in the afternoon and into the evening. I believe their names are Elizabetta and Florentina (apologies if that's not quite right). Both lovely smiling helpful ladies. Also, the night receptionist/guard (Male) is very helpful and always happy and polite. Thank you 😊

United KingdomThe balcony seats are horrible. They look really nice but are incredibly hard and uncomfortable - even for short periods of time. We used the room pillows to sit on as it was just too hard otherwise. The air conditoning in the room is not the best. It goes down to 16 degrees but is definitely not the correct temperature. It's ok but on a very warm day, it doesn't offer enough cool air in my opinion. I was surprised there was no coffee machine or drink facilities in the room. I don't understand why the hotel are so strict on pool towels. You have to use a voucher to obtain a towel, and then return it to the staff member after using it. Why? For a nice hotel like this, just allow guests to help themselves to a towel and return to an empty container afterwards. It's strange they have such a control over them.
The staff were really good at the hotel, and allowed us to check-in slightly earlier. The reception staff were lovely, really warm and welcoming. They showed us straight to the room and explained restaurant times and how to get pool towels. The apartment is in a very quiet area but only a short walk to town (about 15 minutes maximum). You can also walk to the beach (about 35-40 minutes) or you can use the free shuttle bus from the hotel. The room was big, very clean, with a nice bathroom, and lovely balcony. We paid extra for breakfast and were happy with it. The staff were great at getting drinks, and there was a good range of bacon/eggs, bread, croissants, fruit, cereals, juice. The staff work very hard in clearing tables and making sure there is enough food. We had lunch twice at the hotel and were really happy with the service and food.
