the bathroom had a random stench but other than that perfect.

I loved the hospitality, the central location and of course the host!! literally 15 minute or less to everything i wanted to see. it was great! breakfast was amazing, offering way more than needed !! kept us satisfied for hours.

We thought initially that the bathroom was inside the room and not external. But we had no issue after all.

Our experience in Matera was truly memorable. The host went above and beyond by providing us with detailed maps and personalized suggestions for the best places to visit. This guidance helped us discover some of the most breathtaking spots in the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning. We felt very well taken care of and left with a deep appreciation for the city and its incredible history.

(Italian) The facilities were very “simple” but everything was perfectly clean and in excellent position just a few steps near the city center. A good breakfast was served. The host was extremely kind and suggested me the best places to go to dine in and the must-see places in the city. Very good experience!!

This is a great place to stay. The owner is very friendly. The location is amazing, really close to the centre but quiet. It is a small place, just a few rooms in an apartment sharing with the owner. I had a good big bedroom and a private bathroom across the corridor. Breakfast was included which was very good and filling.

Finding a parking spot difficult. Best advice from hosts is to use the garage nearby which runs 15E overnight. Was good advice as was safe and secure spot.

The location is spectacular, seriously, couldnt have been better. Our hosts went out of their way to be hospitable with maps, restaurant advice, sights, lovely italian breakfast each morning and good conversation in Italian so I could practice my skills. Bed was great, nice room and bath with plenty of hot water, quiet location. Would stay again.

I am one of those Americans that likes to eat healthy on vacation. The typical Italian breakfast has to much sugar for me. Not really their fault (and they will let you put food in the fridge) so less of a complaint and more of a suggestion if you want to eat sugar free breakfast, pack it.

Everything was fantastic. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. The location is just a few feet outside of the sassi. THANK YOU for everything.

I would add some non sweet options for the breakfast - like plain yogurt, cheese.

Location is excellent. It is just 2min walk from the Sassy and 7 min walk to the station. Breakfast is a bit too sweet for me but it is ok as a teporay change from my normal ways. I liked very much big sweet ears - local biscuits in the shape of ears. My room facedthe back yardand itwas quiet. The guys who run this b&b were very helpful and gave me more advises than the tourist office.

Everything went well

The location is perfect. It is extremely close to main attractions, but still calm area. The communication was nice as well. The apartments are clean and hosts provide everything you may need.
