Reviews of Terre Bianche

The room was very clean - as in, incredibly clean. Everything was in shades of white, it felt spacious and the cleaning lady came in everyday. The bathroom was large, there were also towels available. The mini fridge had drinks if necessary. Breakfast was also available, it consisted mostly of sweet stuff and less savory (typical Italian breakfast). Personally, I would have preferred some vegetables as well. Our room faced the main street but there wasn’t much noise during the night (the windows were sound proof), but we loved the bird sounds in the mornings. And communication with the host, Elena, was excellent. She was nice every time, she helped us with some good recommendations for visiting and one evening, due to some power surge, the hot water was not running. In less than 15 min she came to the facility and turned it on. And location, for us, was perfect. A walk of 10-15 minutes from city center. Note: if you have a car rented, know that available parking spots are hard to find. It’s not this property issue, but since it’s a residential and crowded area, at night you may do some rounds around the block until you find something. We always did.

We had an amazing stay at Terre Bianche! Rita and Elena were so lovely! Rita gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They were so welcoming and the place was always clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Terre Bianche was absolutely exceptional! The service deserves special recognition – Rita and Elena are true gems of this place. With great dedication, they recommended numerous attractions worth visiting as well as excellent restaurants – not only in Alghero, but also in other towns across Sardinia. Thanks to them, our trip was not only comfortable but also full of wonderful memories. Their approach to guests is incredibly professional and warm – talking with them was a real pleasure! The guesthouse itself also exceeded all our expectations. The room and bathroom were very spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoroughly cleaned every day. The location is another big advantage – just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, yet the area is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was another highlight – it was served according to our preferences, both sweet and savory, at our chosen time. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Importantly, Rita also arranged a gluten-free breakfast for us, which was a very thoughtful and helpful gesture. Check-in was smooth and easy. 24/7 coffee machine with amazing coffee – it was so good, we’ve decided to drink only espresso from now on! Although Terre Bianche does not have its own parking, we had no problem parking along a quiet nearby street. We wholeheartedly recommend Terre Bianche – for the quality of service, cleanliness, location, flexibility, delicious breakfast, and wonderful atmosphere.

Although we stayed in mid-September, when it is not the peak season, it was not easy to find parking in the area.

The hosts and staff were attentive, welcoming, very friendly, and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay at Terre Bianche. From a lovely breakfast to being able to get a coffee or hot chocolate at any time of the day or night, our stay was enjoyable and comfy. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the old town in just a short easy walk. It was everything you'd want in a short stay. Highly recommend!

The room we had was'nt soundproof, so we could hear the activity in the lobby and in the apartment upstairs. We would stress, though, that the positives of our stay FAR outweighed this issue. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Lovely clean and comfortable room with a good bathroom and shower and comfortable bed. Everything worked ok and there were extra nice touches such as bottled water and a coffee maker plus kettle in the common area.

Despite free parking in the surrounding area, it was still very difficult to park and it was a relatively longish walk into the old town and to restaurants.

Breakfast was delicious and the bathroom was nice.

Terre Bianche is a small hotel. The service delivered was thoughtful, friendly and very personal in a good way. They came up with suggestions for visits, restaurants and nice events taking place. Everything was focused on giving us a relaxing, enjoyable time.

Elena and Rita were very kind and friendly, gave very useful information and recommendations, helped in every questions. The location is very good, with a convenient walk it easy to reach the sea, the harbour, and the city center. The room was clean.
