We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our host was MOST accommodating! Our flight was three hours late and we landed after midnight. Although the check-in time stated before 11 he made sure we got in safely. The apartment was spotless and only a ten minute drive from the Palermo airport. It was comfortable, good AC in the bedroom, hot shower! No complaints!!

Clean, great location in town and a stones throw away from PMO airport. Host Dario was very helpful and responsive. I let him know that we would be leaving the property at 5am to catch our early morning flight and he sent me a wake-up message which was very thoughtful.

We had a very late arrival but our host was gracious enough to open the door remotely at 2:00 in the morning. We were at airport about 30 -40 minutes away and Dario, the host, offered us to stay at his house instead of going to the apartment!!! What hospitality!! I couldn’t ask for better treatment and would definitely return on next visit.

PortugalIt is quite central but in a difficult street to park. Fortunately, we just got dropped off and didn’t have to worry about a car.
The best thing about staying here was the property owner Dário and his family. Exceptional!! Dário knew I was nervous about getting a ride to the airport the next day. He arranged a driver and to calm my nerves, he even sent me a picture of the car. He went over and above to solve an issue in the apartment. Such a caring individual that made me and my daughter feel safe and important. His wife and baby were wonderful as well.
