Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The location is perfect, just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain. The room was very spacious, clean, renovated recently, with all necessary amenities. Cleaning was done everyday, fresh towels and cosmetics were provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a flight in the evening and they allowed us to leave luggage in the room. The service was top-notch. Highly recommended! Definitely would come back!

The first thing we did not like when we arrive is that the taxi we book here in booking.com did not brought us to the exact location of the hotel, he just leave us in the street and we are on our own. The hotel we're the taxi stop us we asked, went upstairs with all our luggages without knowing its not the right hotel. Went downstairs again with all the luggages and tried to contact the properties number, again we cannot understand much of wgat he was talking because he is not good in english. The owner keeps on saying the address but we dont know where to go good thing we saw one of our pinoy kababayan and helepd us, we again went to another hotel went upstairs with all the luggages knowing again its not the right one. Called again the owner and keeps on telling us he is busy abd cannot answer more of our calls, he said there is someone who is waiting for us but we saw no one. I would suggest the owner should write the number on the site who really on the property so it will be easily contacted since tourist doesnt know where to go. But finally after sometime the front desk went downstairs and looked for us. I would still recommend to stay here because the total stay we had was superb and since the taxi we booked going to the hote is 12 pm and the check out is 11 they let us stay for another hour for free so its execellnet.
We like the apartment, it was clean because they clean it everyday and it is a plus points. They also provide us toiletress which is good eventhough we bring our own but we did not use our own because the one they provide was good smell so we used it insetad. The staff was very nice and also smiling and always asking if we are good everytime we saw them eventhough they not good in english but not a problem. So in total we love it here.

Was really close to attractions, shops, restaurants and yet tucked away and quiet. Lovely room and bathroom, spacious and modern whilst still having Italian charm

The cleaning people appesr to have left the cleaning solution on the shower floor. This made the shower dagerously slippery.
Less than a minute from the fountain. Wonderful facilities.

The hotel does not have breakfast, but there are many places to eat well within a few steps. The only thing I missed was a blanket - in warm destinations you usually get a sheet. However, these little things are compensated by the very nice and clean interior and wonderful service.
The facility is perfectly located. All attractions are within a short walk. Hotel staff extremely helpful and always smiling. Despite the location in the very center, the rooms are very quiet and the hotel is very well secured.

Very close to Trevi fountain, lots of restaurants just outside, good kitchen facilities, host very friendly and was very helpful even though our flight was delayed. Air conditioned. supermarkets 5 mins walk away

Broken/wobbly toilet seat, windows and shutters difficult to open, but acceptable due to the rustic charm of the property.

Some equipment which could be a little cleaner (toilets, kettle).
The space and the size of the appartment, the spot in a very turistical area but a very quiet location -no noise for example which is very enjoyable after a long day to visit-, the kindness and the reactivity of your host.

apartment was not so clean, heating only from air condition (it was quite cold in the apartment), no heating in bathroom, when the rain was heavy rooftop was leaking in the kitchen

The air conditioning is so weak You have to wait for more than 15 mins minimum to work when you are coming from outside ,
They gave me at the beginning avery tiny room .. and they left at the evening and the water I. The bathroom was very hot I stayed the whole night couldn’t go to the bathroom, I sent the problem by contacting the WhatsApp but no answer, i waited till the morning to come any one they appear at 12 pm !!! Then they changed the room and by night was the same problem again at the other room

It felt like the owners did not take having guests seriously. Decor very old and tired. Items that had been complained about by previous guests not remedied. Examples - broken toilet seat and unusable kettle due to extreme build up of scale inside it. Microwave had not been cleaned with previous gusts stains still in it. Sponge for washing up was dirty. Beds had a type of plastic protector which felt like being in a hospital bed. Second bedroom bed was so small our 5 foot 2 inch daughter didn't fit. View stated in booking.com website was not true. It looked across at another old building and supposed courtyard where garbage bins for the building were stored
Very little. Location excellent and wifi very good. Not much else about the apartment.

Needs some maintenance and missing basic items in self-contained accommodation (washing up sponge/ brush, tea towels, coffee maker), given the price.
