Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe breakfast had no fresh bread/ croissants. They were frozen or long life. Would have loved some fruit but above all, something which didn’t include sugar! The stairs are a pain but manageable after the cases are up there.
Great location. The Spanish quarter seems a bit edgy at first but one you are familiar with it, it’s interesting, friendly and provides a great base for exploring the city. The views over the city from the balcony and terrace are superb and the bustle of the city seems far away. Everything was very clean although the bed sheets could have been aired better and the towels need replacing.

United KingdomThe bed could have been slightly comfier, but the rest of the facilities, location, and staff certainly make up for it
What a hidden gem! This B&B was fantastic, with amazing views over the city and out towards Vesuvius. The neighbourhood is lively, and crammed full of fantastic little bars and restaurants - full of activity, which we both loved. But the roof terrace manages to be surprisingly peaceful, and we also enjoyed sitting drinking a few beers watching the sun go down. Tonia was exceptional - so helpful, so friendly, so fun! She gave great advice about local spots, and put on a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely be recommending this B&B to friends.

United KingdomThe room lock worked but it took a bit of practice to lock it.
The view is sensational. It's quite a climb up the building but it really is worth it. Close to the metro. It was clean and quiet and a very welcome retreat from busy Naples. Tonia was a wonderful host!

United KingdomThe pillows on the bed were lumpy and had no support and the bed was squeaky so we would wake from moving in the middle of the night.
The location is perfect and the views are incredible. Tonia, the housekeeper is so lovely and helpful.

Great facilities. Breakfast was provided, but would have been improved with fresh bread and croissants rather than "long life" products presented in packets.

United Kingdom10+ flights of stairs. The very intimidating nature of the common areas of the block in which the apartment. The unusual method of payment. No cards but cash only. Accepted a bank transfer. In the times in which we all live, this is anachronistic !
The geographical location. Easy walking distance to city centre. The highly eclectic nature of the decor. The nutritious nature of the breakfast.

United KingdomThe city is loud all night. Its not the fault of the B&B but worth brining earplugs. Also my mum find it tiring and difficult to walk up to 4th floor as there is no lift and all rooms are on the top.
The views from the terraces were amazing and the location is near the port so great for sightseeing and diner options. Also Tania the host was super nice, helpful and kind.

United KingdomFinding the property is a nightmare, the main theme around the breakfast table with other guests was how long did it take you to find the place. It did not help by the owner sending messages saying that if you do not get to the room by 8 you will get charged, we were calling him saying that we could not find the place and he did not answer. The steps to the top room which we had was very steep and very tiring, I was lucky to have my son to carry one end of a heavy suitcase, do not bank on the breakfast replacing any energy lost at the stair hike as this was very poor too. The staff were very friendly and I could not fault but they could have put a bit more time into fixing the bag hoist which had been damaged by the rain. Location is good though
