The place is just so beautiful! The design and the planning of the flat is great. In common area you can cook as there is anything you would need and place for eating. The street is so cute and we slept like babies. The location is very nice - you are in the city center, there are bus stops to go to beach just on the corner and 20 min to railway station

I was carrying a very heavy suitcase so going up the stairs is not ideal but the lesson is to pack lighter!

A very comfortable room within walking distance of the Palermo Cathedral and many great restaurants. Perfect for me as a solo traveller. My host Rossella was very kind to check me in, refer restaurants, and be on WhatsApp for if I needed anything.

Nothing, everything was good

A nice bedroom with a shared common area for a couple other guests. Very clean and a perfect location. Very close to the historic city center, but far enough away to avoid noise and big crowds. What we liked most was the representative that met us when we checked in, Rossella. She was VERY helpful and we stayed in communication during our visit, asking her a few questions along the way, which she always quickly answered. When I asked her to help us make a plan for a very early plane flight, she offered to drive us to the airport herself. She was the best!

There was a slight problem with the lock of the entrance door ti the flat. No lift ! However, although the staircase is difficult , it is manageable .

Beautifully restored apartment ..especially the shower room very tastefully equipped with Sicilian tiles .. old and new are very well designed . Staff very friendly and helpful !

There was only a few very minor issues but these didn't compromise our stay whatsoever. The batteries in the TV remote seemed to be not working so we weren't able to get the TV on. However, we didn't feel the need to use the TV so we didn't message Elena about this. I'm sure if we had, she would have got it sorted straight away. The only other thing we could think of was we had to buy more toilet paper, but it was cheap so we didn't mind! I'm sure Elena would have got some more herself if we had messaged her.

Our stay at Valverde Home was excellent! Our host, Elena, was incredible - it was very easy to get in contact with her via email and then through WhatsApp. She even offered to pick us up from the airport. The timings didn't work out so we just got the bus but the offer was very appreciated. Elena gave us a map and showed us the places to visit and avoid which was very helpful. She was more than happy to answer any questions we had throughout the duration of our trip. We had access to a shared kitchen along with 3 other rooms but we only saw people a couple of times. You had access to all the usual kitchen appliances - fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. We didn't hear any noise from them either, whether that be down to soundproofing or quiet guests. Our room was incredibly nice. It was very clean and the bed pretty comfortable. The AC worked great which was a lifesaver! The location of Valverde Home was ideal. The apartments are located on the street, Via Valverde, which is a little side street off one of the biggest roads in Palermo, Via Roma. We were worried that noise from this busy street would be heard in our room but we couldn't hear a thing from it! It's very centrally located and only a 10-15 minute walk from most places we went to which was great.

Everything was great. Location - close to public transport, close to Teatro Massimo, close to the sea and walking distance to the city's main attractions. Very clean, the room and kitchen had everything you need for a pleasant stay. And Elena is a great, caring host. Thank you for everything. I will come back for sure 🙂

Amazing new apartment in centre of Palermo, the apartment is very pretty -combination of modern style and old fragments. All very comfortable and spacious- we can recommend it. Nicole the host is super nice and helpful❤️

The bathroom was a bit too small, specially the handwash tub. Slippers would be a bonus in the room.

Location wise it was very close to the touristic areas. The host was very helpful. She waited for us outside the building waited till we arrived, and helped us park in a very near location. The room was very clean, there was a tv unit, perfectly warm shower, a working a/c, and clean towels. We slept very comfortably throughout the night.

We had to wait outside on the street for an hour until someone came to let us in. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom that engulfed the bedroom, after informing our host, it seemed like someone would come to check it out, but when we returned late the following evening it was clear that no one had come. The doors didn't close well so we woke up multiple times during the night when other guests were arriving, leaving or going into the shared kitchen.

Clean appartment, good location, the bottle of prosecco to celebrate NYE was a nice touch.

Not very welcoming entrance to the building. Easy to get woken up by other guests using the kitchen or getting in and out the apartment. A bit uncomfortable neighbourhood since it doesn't have any charming spot close by and the entrance is located in a bit dark street at night.

The ceiling and views of the bedroom. Conveniently located to the hot spots of the city, Comfortably walking distance. Good communication with the host. Overall clea and calm and the bedroom corresponded to the pictures.
