Beautiful, modern apartment and Paola is a very organised and thoughtful host. We never met her, but she gave us all the info and directions for checking in a day ahead, with pictures and detailed info. There were flowers and a small cake waiting for us and a nice note. Check in was super easy, the keys were in a lock box, so we didn't worry what time to arrive. Apartment is very large, plenty of space for two couples (two bedrooms with two full bathrooms), or family with two kids. Super clean and the kitchen quite well equipped. We wouldn't mind another large pot and larger salad bowl though. Neighbourhood is completely safe and nice, more or less just private houses. Apartment has a garage at the back of the building but we never parked there, because it was enough space in front of the building. And it's totally safe to park there. All the shops are app 2km away so you do need a car. There is also a nice restaurant 50m from the building if you don't want to cook. Tavernerio has a great location for visiting different places around Lake Como and would definitely choose this apartment again.

I am satisfied with my stay. Perhaps I would have liked to have the opportunity to thank Paola personally for her hospitality.

The flat was big, well-designed, and nicely furnished/organized. The internet connection is fast and stable. If you want to cook at home, you have all you need: cookware, cutlery, dishwasher, etc. However, if you enjoy eating out, there is a good Italian restaurant 50 meters from the house and a Kebab/pizza house 25 meters away. There were 2 bathrooms with a nice shower in each of them. The owner (Paola) was very responsive and easy to reach on the phone and WhatsApp when we had any questions. Parking is available around the house and in a private garage (if your car is not too big). We used the garage for the buggy, but it can also be used for bicycles. Tavernerio is very close to the Como city center and the lake. Finally, I liked the attention of the owner for her guests: we found welcoming cards, biscuits, a couple of bottles of water, coffee, and a selection of teas. Grazie Paola!

It is the most beautiful, cozy and clean apartment I have rented in Italy. Everything shows the good taste of the owner, from the decor, how it is equipped, arranged. The cleanliness is superlative. The host, Paola, is a wonderful person, always available and very hospitable.

Sound isolation is quite poor and so as both bedrooms are located right next to the main road, the sound of incessantly passing cars starting at 6 am stopped us from having a good night's rest. Bring earplugs!!! Unfortunately, TVs in both rooms also failed go connect to the internet so we couldn't watch TV but the technician couldn't come by to fix the problem because we were there during a public holiday. The water from the toilet in the outside bathroom is too strong while fishing and splashes everywhere.

Gorgeous and modern space that's tastefully decorated. Little details like slippers and sweets with a hand-written note make it even better! Beds are comfortable. Our party of 4 also appreciated the two bathrooms. Easy self-check in and free parking available both across the street in front of the apartment or in a private garage.The hosts are also very responsive with travel tips and solving any problems I had.

Host was very nice, hospitable and helpful. A very nice welcoming token of appreciation was waiting for us in the apartment. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The position of the apartment is very good.

Located on a very busy road, bedrooms are facing the road so lots of traffic noise from 6am onwards Hot water in the shower is not working well, plumber tried to fix the problem but having a hot shower was still a challenge

Newly refurbished, very clean and light, owner is very attentive, provided missing equipment in the kitchen and organised plumber to fix hot water problem
