Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Communication with Gaspare was excellent from before arrival until we left. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation in Petralia Soprano.

South AfricaWe both wear glasses, and would appreciate stronger light (bedside lights for each bedside) in the bedroom and the smaller room for reading at night. Also an extra plug would be great.
We just loved the property overall. The situation is beautiful. In the heart of the most beautiful and peaceful antique hilltop village. Verso Est is so clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable. Great small bathroom and shower. Gaspare is an exceptional host: really warm, communicative and helpful. And the neighbour, Giovana, was very kind and helped us a lot with translation.

I loved that it was in the middle of this very beautiful village Petralia Soprana. It was one of the most wonderful villages I visit. Gasparo was really nice to communicate with and he recommended a very good restaurant run by a friendly family. The food was delicious at Trattoria Salvatore.

United KingdomNothing really - the lady who came to get the breakfast (for 0900) surprised us when she arrived rather early at 0700 - but that wasn’t a problem. Be aware you will need to park on the road on the run up the hill into the village and will have a 5 minute walk to the property
Great facilities, very comfortable and clean. Gaspare very helpful - even telephoned us after we had checked out to check everything had been ok. Great location in quiet side street near the centre of Petralia Soprana - which is a stunning old hill top village with good restaurants.
