The walls between the bedrooms are a bit thin so we had to sleep with earplugs.

The breakfast was nice. The staff were wonderful. Lovely property, well located for the town to get both into the centre and down to the port.

Fantastic stay with friends and family - felt like we had our own little villa for ourselves and our kids with a pool, and lovely breakfast area. Very tasty fruit, pastries, and all the varieties of cuts and cheeses. Nicolas and Tommaso are also the best hosts!

The villa is beautiful, nicely maintained, and clean. Tommaso and Nicholas were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. I would definitely stay over again next time I'm in Duino and highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely short stay in Duino at Villa Borgo Duino. Location of this little hotel ist just perfekt, not far away from a small port, Duino Castle or Rilke Trail to Sistiana. Hotel owners are super nice, welcoming was very warm and informativ. Miss Nicoletta, who we believe is the good spirit of this hotel, was allways friendly and made the best breakfast buffet every morning. We give you guys 5* for everything!

This is truly a 5-star experience out of 5. The room is spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Every detail—from the crisp, white towels and feather-soft, high-quality linens to the large shower (especially for Italy) with excellent water pressure and the comfortable beds—leaves no doubt about the quality of this hotel. In November, the heating ensured the room and bathroom were wonderfully warm and cozy. The private parking on the hotel premises is convenient and secure.

The pool wasn't usable at this time of the year, and not much vegan food/allergy notes at breakfast, but I also didn't mention so they might have accomodate.

The staff was lovely and the bed was very comfortable, we also got a bigger room. It was a very cute stay. I also liked eco products in the room.

I can't point any weak spot of this place.

Host is really kind person, villa is well sustained and furnished with a good sense of style. You can have home-like experience while staying there. Breakfast were delicious, smell of breakfast downstairs makes you wake up.

A comfortable sitting area would be nice for wet days, to sit with a book/Matisse. A seat pad on the long breakfast bench would make it comfortable

It’s very accessible, very clean, lovely breakfast and staff. A cross between a hotel and a home. In the middle of the village, nice restaurant within easy walking distance. Access to kettle and having a room fridge where great too. Good recommendations for supper etc.

Nothing, it was all outstanding!

The most amazing spread of many places we have stayed in all over Italy. A lot of care and attention to detail, with a unmatched view from the pool of the Castello di Duino. Tomasso and Nicholas were excellent hosts. We cannot wait to come back!

Loved the decor, charming room (not too large, but for us it was perfect) and the pool area. Great breakfasts. The hosts were always helpful. Walking distance to the sea and a couple local restaurants.

Stayed for 4 days. The owners were so helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were huge. Loved the pool and lounge area. Breakfast was delicious and the owners kept fruit in the dining room so one could grab a nutritious snack in the afternoon.

Beautifull villa, every single detail is carefully selected. From the porch you can see the Duino castle,. It takes 20 min by car to Trieste. Castello Miramare is really close. Private parking available at request, free of charge. Breakfast is nice (there is salty and sweet option). The room was really comfortable and cosy. Everything super clean. The hosts are educated and nice people, ready to answer all the questions of the needy guests. Beautifull stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy with 2 types of pillows, firm one and a fluffy one, so you can choose which one you prefer regarding your sleeping preferences. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of products. There is no problem with parking lots. The nice pool on the patio is a nice welcome to every guest
