Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe stayed at Villa Francesca during our holiday in Sardinia and truly enjoyed our time there. The villa is simple but has everything you need for a comfortable stay and for exploring the island and its beautiful beaches. A special mention goes to the swimming pool and the surrounding area – it’s absolutely perfect. Some days we chose to stay in and relax by the pool, as it’s so well maintained. You can really see how much care the owner puts into keeping it in excellent condition. We loved it! Like in any house, a few small issues came up during our stay, but what really stood out was Marcello’s quick response. He never ignored a request and always made sure everything was fixed immediately, often the very next day. This kind of attentiveness made our stay worry-free. A car is definitely essential, both for reaching the villa and for visiting the many beautiful beaches nearby. My sincere thanks to Marcello for his outstanding service, his help, and his great advice on places to visit. For me, communication is key – and with Marcello, it was at the highest level. We highly recommend Villa Francesca and would be happy to return!

United KingdomNothing to dislike, but something to be aware of, in the bedrooms, particularly in the bunk bed room, there are hard steps by the bed which could be an issue to consider if booking with very young children. Some reviews have mentioned the maintenance of the property but this didn’t spoil our stay and was reflected in the price.
Fabulous pool and outdoor area with stunning sea views. It was spacious and full of character and unique. We loved being up in the mountains and it was very quiet. There are loads of places to sit and relax. It was clean and enjoyable. Beds were comfy

HungaryThe house is rather obsolete! All furniture, kitchen devices, utensils, and the whole house and also the pool would require a full renovation. We had an impression as if this house was formerly used for pirivate purposes decades ago, and after some years, the new owner wants to use this for tourism accommodation - but without any serious investments.... So bear in mind: if you choose this house, it is somehow cheaper than others in Sardegna with the same capacity - but it is because of it is run down. There is air conditioning only in the bedrooms, so it is extremely hot in the other premises (living room, hallways, kitchen). It was funny that after we complained that there is no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, Marcello has installed a split clima into that with approx 4 hrs of work... Also the beds are run down, e.g. the bunk bed where my son was sleeping has crashed, and Marcello and me had to fix it by using additional boards taken out from the upped bed - it was ridiculious!
Villa Francesca is situated on a hill with fascinating view to the Sea. The house has a favourable structure with kitchen, balcony, swimming pool and 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus a room downstairs with another toilet and fridge. Marcello, the owner is a kind person and helpful.
