We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Polara. The place was beautiful and the conditions were great. The man who greeted us was very welcoming and friendly — he showed us the room and even told us about the history of the estate, which was a nice personal touch. The room had everything we needed: a fridge, kettle, coffee capsules, and a hairdryer. Everything was clean and well-organized. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Wifi is a bit slow, but except this everything was great.

Very nice room located in a building with interesting past. It was cleaned and quiet. There is everything needed in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided various information. Linen and towels included. The area is quiet and there is a free private parking.

Our host has been very nice and welcoming, he even suggested us beaches where to go and restaurants. As it was not full, he even upgraded us for free to a better room. We had a very nice terrace where to sit outside too.

As a gluten-intolerant person, I like having kitchen access, and this wasn't possible at lovely Villa Polara, although there are refrigerators in the rooms. It's convenient to Ragusa, Modica, and nearby towns, all of which have excellent restaurants.

Live like a nobleman in a magnificent 17th-century country villa: high ceilings, original tile floors, tranquil setting. Historical charm with modern conveniences and panoramic views.

We stayed here in February, and although the room had an AC unit that could be set to heating, it was quite cold (makes sense as the building's made of stone), especially in the bathroom where there was no heat source. In addition, finding a good cafe/bar/restaurant close by can be a bit challenging, but you can always head into Modica itself.

The host was pleasant and welcoming and gave us good advice on local activities we were seeking, the place was fabulous - a restored old estate with original flooring, beautiful back and front gardens and terrace, and it's situated just outside Modica.

That's a magical place. 18th century villa, which was renewed 5 years ago. All profits go to the foundation which helps to mothers and children. The location is great, in good weather you can see the sea. Owner is very nice person and made a tour for us. The place is amazing. The filling of true Sicily from old movies

Missing swimming pool, sunbeds or some other outdoor facilities/activities around villa. Right now there is not much to do there on top, just to use it as accommodation.

Spending our days in the villa,was just perfect! The history of the building is amazing,we felt like going back in time. Our room was so lovely and absolutely clean,the breakfast in the amazing garden is a must! Our host was so nice,told the whole story of the villa,we could even taste their own chocolate 😊 If you want a piece of heaven,you must visit this breathtaking place ❤️

a must to do near Modica. Veritable sicilian atmosphere with guided presentation of the villa and history of it. Very helpful staff and excellent relaxing atmosphere. +. by your stay you support a fundation of the Benedictian cloister of young abandoned woman.
