Both Villa Sant Andrea and sister property Hotel Timeo was over expectations, we had dinner in both restaurants and the view and food was exceptional. Also beach club in Villa Sant Andrea was simply gorgeous, we had an also room upgrade thanks to kindness of reservation team. Overall, reallly enjoyed our stay and definitely will go back to this paradise!

It’s in need of a refurbishment if they want to charge over £1000 a night. The outdoor restaurant is particularly tired.

Beautiful setting, well trained courteous staff, comfortable spaces, beach club plus separate pool, food very good.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is next to a cliff with sea views. The rooms are beautiful and luxurious, ours had a huge private terrace with views. Also the pool and beach were amazing. I can definitely recommend it!

The staff was amazing, truly the best I've ever experienced. Warm, friendly and very professional, happy to accomodate absolutely anything we asked for. Although it's an expensive hotel, it was worth it and the complimentary little surprises - complimentary evian facial spray at the beach, granita and biscuits, Easter cake delivered to our room - made it feel very special and good value.

The location is on the coast so you had to take a taxi or the complimentary shuttle to the town which is perched on top of the hill. You could walk if you were fit and energetic! We preferred the beachside setting with panormaic views across to Italy. The hotel is beautiful and the staff outstanding.

Rooms are quite small and there was only room for one luggage rack which was challenging because we were coming from the USA for 10 days with 2 large suitcases

Everything was perfect! We were there for our honeymoon so the staff kindly upgraded us and gave us a beautiful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on our balcony. The breakfast was incredible, everything was thought out, and the attention to detail was fantastic. It's so great that you can enjoy the hotel by the sea but then also get a free shuttle up to Taormina and have access to the other Belmond hotel as well. All in all, we'll definitely be going back as we loved every minute.

Due to its seaside location, the hotel is significantly smaller than its sister property. It is also prone to mold - as this odor can be detected in isolated corners where guests are not expected to venture. The hotel should pay extra special attention to this.

Unique location with direct beach access. Very comfortable accommodations (comfy beds and spacious suite with balcony) facing the sea. Excellent food. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Complimentary boat outing was a lovely and unexpected perk - as swimming in the Ionian Sea may be among the most delightful swimming experiences anywhere on the globe!

The property itself is beautiful - so lush and gorgeous. The private beach location was perfect for a hot July. It's about 15 minutes from town, but the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from (or you can take the cable cars). Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect.

An amazing location. Our junior suite had beautiful sea views and was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Loved the pool and beach. The staff were helpful and the food was fantastic.
