    Frühstück wurde liebevoll zubereitet und extra auf unsere Wünsche angepasst. Sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Kurzer Fußweg zum Strand, viele Lokale im Ort. Bequemes Bett.

    Wir haben in Italien für das Geld viel komfortabler übernachtet. Sehr enges Zimmer, Wasserdruck und -temperatur lassen zu Wünschen übrig. Parkplatz an nahegelegenem Kiosk kostet extra. Abends auf der Terrasse verweilen leider nicht möglich: Unbequeme Stühle und unerträglicher Lärm vom Rummelplatz direkt vor der Tür. Das Zimmer hat auf booking.com 120 Euro gekostet, vor Ort hätten wie 70 bezahlt. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar.

    Dear Mrs Cynthia, thank you so much for your positive review on Booking. Certainly, the score you gave us it has been a surprise, negative surprise for me and so, I'll try to make you understand - again and again - what I said to you when you and your husband still were at the Wunderkammer b&b. Let's start: the room: it has been chosen by you on Booking, others were available at the moment of the reservation. If you had told me that the one you had chosen didn't suite to you, I would have changed it for you, without additional costs or problems; the water pressure: it depends on the Apulian Aqueduct, we will ask for more power; the temperature: in each room there is an independent air conditioning system with relative remote control, where guests set temperature they like, only following simple and clear instructions on display or simply asking for functions; the car parking: we have no parking area, as you can read on Wunderkammer's b&b info, but we have an agreement with a private guarded parking and for a fee, managed externally to us, as it happens in every part of the world, which offers to our guests a discounted and preferential rate. We don't force anyone to use it, you could park the car there or elsewhere, as we suggested; the terrace: on the same floor of your room there is a terrace available to guests: just as you used it during the day so you should have used it in the evenig, who was stopping you? certainly, it wasn't me, there were no prohibitions. This was your free choice, again; the chairs and "noise behind the door": I know that for someone it is difficult to leave out from their "comfort zone", but for example, Rome is also a chaotic and noisy city, yet I surely wouldn't blame the hotelier for this, by the way, the new windows and doors are soundproofed; the rate: last but not least...the rate on our official website start at €70,00 as minimum price for off-season stay to €130,00 for maximum price for high-season, August, double room's accomodation, organic breakfast included and wifi free. Now, you have made a reservation on Booking, which is an OTA= Online Travel Agency, where high commission are paid on each booking by host and guests. You have paid on Booking €120,00 per night in August, therefore high-season period, and the rate was even more cheaper than the rate on the official website despite the commissions, which I repeat are high, I pay on each booking. It was a special offer I made. All this, my dear Cynthia, was told to you when you asked me the same question to which, I thought, I had answered you comprehensively, but now I see, I was wrong. At the end of the story I can say that it would have been better if you asked me for clarificatio before, instead of answering my question that everything was going fine. Why didn't you do it? If you read the other reviews you will certainly notice how different they are from you have painted here, don't you? By the way, I thank you for having appreciating welcoming, breakfast, cleanliness, the comfortable bed and for having giving me the opportunity to make the Wunderkammer b&b better known in the world.     Yes, it's true we have no parking inside, the opposite has never been written or said. But, there is a private and guarded parking 100mt from the b&b which applies discounted rates for our structure and which the same guests have used with satisfaction for the entire period of their holiday.
